Hook finally managed to climb his way down from the beanstalk, the giant did exactly what Emma had asked and freed him after ten hours. He cursed her, all he wanted was to help her so he could get his revenge. He didn't want to work with Cora, after all Cora risked his revenge where as they would have risked his revenge. They should have just taken him with them.

"My dear Captain, it seems you've been on quite an adventure." A voice came from behind him and he immediately knew he was going to be in trouble. "The compass please."

"Yes, that. Well... matters grew complicated, it eluded me for the moment. The details of the affair are a bit of a bore."

"Really, stealing my protection spell and climbing the beanstalk without me might seem like a bore to you but to me, it's betrayal."

"I was going to bring it to you," Hook said, lying through his teeth just hoping Cora would believe him. After all Cora was better to him as a friend than an enemy. "Our agreement remains; we are going to Storybrooke together. I'll get it back."

"I don't have time for your games, I've crossed through too many worlds to be brought short at the brink of success. Who was it who bested you?"

"The Swan girl – Emma. Rest assured it won't happen again,"

"No it won't," Cora said and Hook knew this wasn't good. "You chose her and the consequences of that decision."

"Oh, are you going to kill me now? Go ahead, try." He said knowing that he would welcome it.

"So brave. No, I'm not going to kill you and return you to the woman you love. I have something far more satisfying in mind: I'm going to leave you here with your thirst for revenge unquenched, your love unavenged. While I complete our journey without you."

"There's no need to be rash," Hook said knowing she would do it, because he couldn't do that. He needed his revenge, he needed to avenge Adelaide – it was the only thing keeping him alive which he knew Adelaide would want him to live. "We can... discuss this."

"Your pretty face buys you a lot but not my time, it's too valuable."

"I can do this!" Hook shouted, grasping at straws to be able to get back to Storybrooke. "I can get it back, you need me."

"No I don't, you've had your chance. Now it's my turn to do this, the right way." Cora said, Hook did the last thing he could think off and lunged at her but she disappeared in a puff of magical smoke. He knew that he would now have to figure out a way to either get Emma to take him with them or get the compass back and give it to Cora.

That night Adelaide had been joined by David and Regina as the three adults. They all sat around Henry's bed, all in different places around him. Henry then woke with a yell waking all of the people around him, they all rushed up to him.

"They're... they're alive, they're alive!"

"Who Henry?" Adelaide said moving to sit on the bed. "Who's alive?"

"My mom and Snow,"

"I told you kid, I told you!"

"Was..." Regina said not sure whether she wanted to believe Henry. "Was it that woman you saw? Did she tell you this?"

"Her name's Aurora, she said they have a way home but there's something in their way. Someone they need us to help stop – someone only Mr Gold knows how to defeat."

"Who?"

"Your mother," Henry said looking to one of his mothers, he was slightly confused by the dark look that appeared on Regina's face.
