The sunset cast over the harbour. The towering boats gracefully bobbing in the ocean. I carefully walk down to the dock, each step followed by a creak. The butterflies in my stomach are relentless, and I feel nervous. I spot them from the far distance ahead, waving and their hands holding. They beckon me, and I almost sprint into their arms. They pull me into an embrace and I don't want to let go. I look up at her and smile, and she reflected my expression. He also mimicked us. I pull away, my glassy eyes warning me of tears. She walks closer and places her warm hand on my left shoulder.
"You will find the one soon." She says, her words borderline on a whisper. There it is again, the happy but sad feeling. I feel the tears of joy slowly trace a line down my cheek, smearing what makeup I had on. She takes her hand off my shoulder and she walks back to join him. Together, they board the ship, hand in hand. I stand and watch the ship depart, as they stood at the back, waving to me. I wipe the tears from my eyes, and say.
"I always knew the Emah ship will sail."
