I glare at my friend, as they return the stare. An evil smile is plastered upon their face, and I may not be psychic but I could see what they were about to speak.

I frown, "don't you dare." I warned. Their smile only grew, stretching ear to ear."

"You are a..." they paused for a moment. "Rock."

Without thinking, I threw a punch at my friend. My fist connected with their nose. They fall back, holding their hurt nose, which slowly began to bleed. My fist rested at my side, still clenched.

"What the hell?!" She asked, betrayed and hurt.
"I told you not to call me that." I answered.
"What? You mean rock." They said, weakly smiling.

I subconsciously uppercut their gut. They yelped with pain, and grabbed my arm. I retract my fist, and they falls to their knees, now holding their stomach. The blood from their nose dripped onto the floor. They looked up at me, tears in their eyes.

"F-friend?" They asked weakly.
"Don't. Call. Me. That. Again." I said firmly. "Understand?"
They quickly nod and gaze at the floor where a small puddle of blood began to gather. I hand them a packet of tissues and they snatch it out of my hands, ripping it open and removing a fist full of tissues.

The moral of the story, don't use trigger words or you will beget beat like eggs.
