Heat.

The sweltering waves of transparent fire surround me. I feel like I'm slowly melting like an ice cream, my classmates surely feel the same.

I begin to fan myself with the warm fragile papers of my mathematics book, perspiration on my forehead. I sigh, feeling the slightly cooler air against my sweaty face.

The teacher stands and calls for attention.
"Okay everyone. We will now be going outside to the pool"

The class cheered and whispered amongst each other. Finally, relief in the form of lukewarm liquids. The class stands and begins to rush out the door to the cloak bay.

I go to stand but I'm held down to my plastic seat by some force. I struggle against the mystery glue-like force that holds me down until...

I tear away from the seat, the sound of sticky flesh ripping away from the seat like a sticky note. I lift my arms in the air, celebrating me finally being released from the grasp of the sweaty plastic chair.

I quickly sprint into the cloak bay, grab my swimming gear, and hastily runs to join my class in the hot, sweltering sun.
