Why Not

As I got home, feeling I don't know feeling that I haven't felt since then. It's
really weird for me. It's like it felt happiness.

I went to the living room and spot Toothless relaxing, he saw and gets up, wagging his tail.

"Hey Bud"I greet, sitting next to him.

"You know Toothless, she's really changing me. But I can't resisted, the negative feelings are going away. The razor I used to cut my self, I don't feel like doing it no more".

"Bark!"Toothless licks my face"Ah! Toothless you know that doesn't wash off!".

"Hiccup?"I heard my name called, I saw my Dad coming from the front door, he's home early.

"Hey Dad"I greet, wiping off Toothless's sticky licks.

"Ah hello son, I see you look fine"He said happily, hooking his coat.

"Yeah, me and Toothless have been having fun"I throw a small pillow at him and ignores.

Dad chuckles"Oh son, I got good news, I'm taking the whole week off from work and I wanted to spend time with you. I must understand that we haven't been seeing or doing things like father and son should do".

"Wow Dad really?! That's that's awesome".

"And since you're graduating soon, we better get yourself prepare from your ceremony"Dad walks over to his chair.

"Your grad pictures, are they in?"He ask.

"I went to do them but I haven't paid them online yet"I chuckle nervously.

Dad smug"well let's better get them here son! I bet our family will really want them too".

"Any luck on finding a girl for your Prom?"He stated, possibly wanted me to have a girlfriend.

"I don't think I won't be going to my senior prom".

"Why not? Still having trouble finding a girl"He chuckles.

"Ummm well recently there this girl-"

Then my Dad's expressions change"wait?! You got yourself a girl without me knowing?!".

"Umm Dad she's-"

"That's wonderful son! This is great you finally made a Friend"He quoted.

I shrugged"Dad-"

"So I'll be getting grand babies soon?!".

"D-dad!"I whine, this is embarrassing luckily she didn't came in for a quick visit.

"I'm so proud of you son. Your growing up to fast"He pats my back"we should eat".

"Heheh yeah"I chuckle nervously.

"So what's the Lass name?"He ask, went to the refrigerator.

I roll my eyes knowingly me and her are Not dating"Astrid Hofferson".

"Ah I know her father, he works with me, always good with his jokes"He chuckles"is she good?".
