Sarah's pov

Tomorrow night is the night. Tomorrow is full moon and Klaus wants to break the curse.

It's either Elena or I. We have no idea wich one of us he will pick.

I was standing in fornt of the fireplace. I had a drink in my hand.
It was one of Damon's precious Bourbons.

I head the front door open. I didn't care who it was. I was just starring at the fire in front of me.

I heard footsteps behind me. They were coming closer to me.

Damon " you're going to drive yourself crazy if you keep thinking about it"

I didn't look at him " It's either her or me, Damon. "

I could hear him sigh.

Me " One of us is going to die tomorrow. "

Damon shoke his head " but it's not you"

I looked at him " It's not your choice. It's his. "

Damon looked down.
I took a sip of my drink.

Me " I don't want to die, Damon. "

Damon looked at me

I wisperd " I don't want it"

Damon pit his hands on the side of my face. He looked me in the eyes

Damon " I don't care who the hell he thinks he is, but I won't let him take you, Sarah. I won't let the girl I want get killed in front of me. I'll protect you"

I looked down "You will die trying"

He put two fingers under my chin and made me look up to him.

Damon " Then I'll die trying protecting my love"

I cracked him a smile " I love you too"

Damon's eyes left my eyes and to my lips. Then he looked back into my eyes and then to my lips.
He licked his lips.

Damon " I won't let anyone take you away from me"

Then his lips met mine.
