"Often the jails that hold us, we walked into to and want to stay in."

"How am I supposed to escape, Micros? The cell is enchanted to go against any type of magic used against it! I can't really get out of here until they come to get me, plus if I escape it looks like I'm trying to avoid my rightful punishment. There is that and I would be met with resistance and if I hurt anyone on this island it would not end well, they would use it to frame me of further charges." I sigh and sit down on the ground and let my head fall against the wall in defeat because I knew this day was coming but I had resisted it for so long.

"So that's it? You're just gonna give in and let them kill you? Kiero they don't plan to give you a trial! As much as I despise you for not being here all those years ago...." Micros' voice faltered as he spoke going from rage to sorrow as his gaze sank to the floor and his chest dropped lower as if the air of his lungs was being squeezed out from the giant hands of life. However, something changed within the next moment inside of him. He fought against the giant hands pushing against them and breathing deeply, letting his lung inflate up again as he pushed the fingers wider to fight against the strangling grip life has. His gaze raised and the fire of determination burned brighter then the torches that light the halls of an old dungeon.

"No matter about the past, I was raised on the idea of justice and that means a fair trail at least. If I can't give my enemy justice then I haven't honored my parents way of life and what they taught me before they died!" Micros howled in rage and grab the bars of the cell his body beginning to shake as the magic fights against him. I stood up in awe as his body began to shift into that of gorilla but his hands never changed. He began to tug and tug at the bars trying to rip them from their sockets.

"Micros! Stop you will hurt yourself, a man's body isn't meant to handle that much counter magic in a single moment if ever." I reached out to touch his hands and try and stop him calming my voice as I spoke to try and soothe his anger. When my hands touched his I could feel his pain as the counter magic fought against him and it was like electricity burning through his body and the closer I looked the more I noticed the hairs on his arms standing as the magic charge built up in his body.

"Not until you get out of this cage!" Micros cried out as blood began to trickle down his fingertips as it sprouted out from his fingernails. I watched in horror as I knew if he kept fighting against the magic that it would cut off the fingers that were connected to bars.

"I'm sorry Micros, I have to do this..." I hold my breathe as I reach through the bar and place my hand against his upper chest lacing my fingers through the knotted, rough, black fur of the gorilla form he has taken to free me from the cage of righteousness I placed myself in. I release my breathe as I pull forward and slam his head into the bars and the counter magic as well as the force of the blow take place all at once and knock him unconscious. With one finial heave I throw his body back to get him away from the enchanted bars as his body shifts back to the human form.

"Get to the cell make sure Kiero is still locked down!" I can hear Emerald's voice followed by the smell of panic as the door blows open and armed guards come charging in with pistols and swords drawn. They take the room with the speed of a force that had practiced that exact situation a million times, until one of the guards saw that I was still in the cell and tripped over absolutely nothing in what I guess to be surprise.

"Ma'am he is still here..." one of the guards says in a tone of disbelief as all of the guards weapons lower. Emerald storms into the room and see's Micros laying unconscious on the ground and me still within the cell.
