"Do not run from the past, walk away from it. When you run you forget where you are and will go in circles. When you walk you learn where you are and go to new places."

I could barely react to the bolt of lightning as I was only able to turn and watch in shock as it struck Comet directly in the chest blasting him back through the walls of the living room dumping his charred body into the kitchen. The sink exploding from the force and dousing his body in the water. I was stuck at the moment only able to watch as I heard a scream of blood-curdling vengeance as Isabella charged toward the child with a kitchen knife in hand clearly aiming for the throat, as tears poured from her eyes excreting from the bloodshot red veins of rage.

I felt the woman I had healed pass right through my body as if it was made of vapor as she charged desperately toward the child...

..."Kiero did you hear him? He blames himself for his parent's death and that's why we think he is in this coma-like state.." I could hear Isabella's worried voice call from the kitchen as she stood in the doorway eyeing us nervously as Comet stood over me chewing on his fingernail's as he stressed over the child.

Am I losing my sanity? Did I see the future or did I just see what I thought would happen? Questions blazed through my mind like the bolt of lightning that had torn through the air in my vision. I fought the urges of the wolf in my body, as every instinct in my body surged to slit the child's throat as fast as possible.

You are going to kill children Kiero, that's not right! The beast fought against me holding me in place as he knew what was morally right but I did not care. There was a threat to the ones I cared for and every bone in my body said to eliminate the threat.

And if he kills them? That is right? Let me go, I must protect them. They are in danger!

From what? A child who is mourning the death of his parents by his own paws? Like when I had seen a world of chaos in switching places with the beast, I could clearly see our struggle flashing through that same sunless sky. His claws gripping my arms and legs as I strained against him grasping to pull free with the strength and desperation of a starving man that has food within his sight. Do not kill him! If you were really worried about protecting humans, wouldn't that include him? The sky around us in this suspended moonlit forest world changed as it turned from the spotted abyss that was the night to a memory of Shazo giving me the order to protect all humans as they were his cared for.

I stopped fighting against his grip as he ripped me back and in my place was the same shadowy creatures of doubt that plagued my mind endlessly. Lunar howled tossing me to the land below as my vision faded back to reality and I could see him shatter the shadow's bodies with a clap of thunder.

"Yes, I did hear you..... Sorry, you must forgive me. I was running through calculations of what could happen." I said robotically as I stood and waved my hand over the child's body, the static in the air discharging and fading into nothing.

"What did you just do?" Comet asked as he inched closer to the child as he did not want to be shocked as he was in the past. "Did you turn his magic off somehow?" Comet took a chance and embraced the young Zinner in his arms trying to comfort him. The boy blinked into reality and began to sob. Isabella ran over and squeezed them both in her arms joining the young boys tears as he had not been touched for weeks.

"My mowmma says 'Somefimes evewyone jusf need a hug' is that what's going on here mwr. Kiero?" Timothy tugged gently on my leg looking up at me with the eyes of a fawn. Turning my gaze away from the small human it was only here I noticed that Isabella was pregnant.
