Chapter Four:

''Don't you think it's time to go?'' I asked hastily. He looked at me confused and he raised a eyebrow.

''Courtney and Wyatt just walked in,'' I told him with a sigh. Understanding flashed in his eyes and he nodded his head, he grasped my hand and lead us to the entrance.

''Hey Skylar, stolen any boyfriends lately?'' Courtneys irritating voice called out.

''You know that wasn't my fault Courts and you know that.'' I said with sadness in my voice.

She rolled her eyes and flipped her hair over her shoulder and started pulling Wyatt to the cashier that was busy filing her nails.

Ace led us out the resteraunt and to his car, once we were strapped in he turned to me and asked,''What was that about?''

I shook my head and told him I'll tell him later, he nodded his head and continued driving,

We drove in a comfortable silence, the radio on in the backround with one of my hands on his thighs. I watched as his muscled moved and tensed as he changed gears.

When we stopped by my house we both walked in since my parents weren't home, at the moment they were busy traveling Asia.

The whole afternoon we just lazed around and he helped me with my Biology and we just spoke about anything that came to mind.

When night fell I asked him if he wanted to order dinner and he said yes like the hungry teenage boy he was.

The pizza arrived and Ace went to get because I was in the shower, I got dressed into a pair of pajama shorts and a plain black t-shirt.

I went downstairs and saw Ace sitting on the couch, munching on the pizza. I went and sat next to him and reached for a slice of pizza.

We ate in silence when I noticed Ace was staring at me, I swallowed my pizza and started leaning in when he backed up and smirked.

''You were practically in my lap!'' He teased.

''No,'' I said stubbornly,'' I was just getting another pizza slice I told him.

He chuckled and we both finished off the pizza when it was done he told me that he had to be heading home. I nodded my head and we walked to his car and he smiled at me before he grabbed my waist and pressed me against it.

"What are you doing?'' I asked breathlessly.

''Giving you something that will last you through the night.'' He said and kissed me senseless, when he pulled away I smiled at him.

''What about you, baby?'' I teased and pressed my lips to his neck and sucked, making sure to leave a hickey.''Dream about that.''

I walked up to my house and felt his eyes trail my butt, just to tease him I put a extra swing in my step. I heard him groan and then a car door slam. I smirked and watched him drive down the street.

As I was about to open my door I was yanked back and pushed up against my house only to see it was Wyatt. I looked up at him with fear.

''You better stay away from him!'' He threatened, I nodded, I had no choice. He let me go with a nod of his head.

I sank down to my knees and watched him dissapear into the night.

This guy wasn't my best friend, I wanted him back.
