Rohan's POV:
Ishika - where do I even start about her. We've practically known each other since we were born! And been the best of buddies ever since.
Being the only child of her parents, she was more of a pampered kid at home and at school, I was there to protect and pamper her. I intially thought this was just friendship, and being her friend, it was quite natural on my part to protect her, care for her and there's nothing more to it.
But as teenage came in, I started to realize that there's much more to my equation with Ishika than just friendship.
People sometimes think I'm over-protective of her. Maybe! But it really irks me when some other guy even tries to look at her in that way. Let alone try to flirt with her. And if even she starts to respond to him, that's the worst combination ever!
Although I've never seen her respond to any of such creepy jerks, but off late, I find her getting attracted to Sachin. I hope, I pray, that there's nothing as such in her heart. I guess I'm just thinking too much about it. If she liked Sachin, I would've been the first person she would come and tell. I seriously need to stop thinking so much.
Should I tell her how I feel? Well, I've always wanted to. But first, I wanted to be sure myself that this is love and not some silly attraction.
At this point, when I'm sure that it is purelove and no attraction, lust or any other bullshit, if I tell her about my feelings, I'm sure it wont ruin our friendship coz its not so weak, but it'll definitely make things awkward between us. i.e. If she dosent feel that way. But why think that way, lets hope for the best!
Whenever I see her, I somehow get lost in her but today, today its really something else. She just swept me off my feet when I saw her in that Indian attire. I just couldnt take my eyes off her. Her deep brown eyes, carelessly flowing curls, sweet lingering smile, she looked like a perfect princess today.
This is it! I cant keep my feelings in me for long now. I have to tell her how I feel. And I'm sure she'll understand. Or at least I hope so :)
