It was sembreak. Kris and I don’t get to see each other for a week because I wasn’t allowed to go out. So we spent most of the time texting each other

Kris: hey

Me: hey

Kris: what are you doing?

Me: sketching house plans. You?

Kris: thinking of you

Me: so cheesy of you hahahaha

Kris: what? I really miss you.

Me: I miss you too.

Kris: let’s get married.

Me: of course we will. In the future

Kris: no, I mean now.

Me: we’re too young. I’m only 16.

Kris: please?

Me: can you do a decent proposal?

*incoming call from Kris*

I answered it.

Kris: will you marry me?

Me: yes.

Kris: then when do you want to get married?

Me: on our anniversary?

Kris: I can’t wait that long. It’s still 10 months away.

Me: 3 weeks from now? On foundation week?

Kris: okay. Perfect no one will know we’re away

Me: are you really serious? I mean where will we get a licence?

Kris: trust me.

Me: okay

*end call*

We were busy planning a small and private wedding. I wanted a simple cake and I only wanted 20 people to be there. I want this marriage to be as secret as possible.

I was having lunch with Sungmin and Heechul, when Heechul suddenly grabbed my phone. I suddenly wanted my phone back because I forgot to delete my wedding plans there

“oh, don’t worry. We already know your wedding plans with Kris” Heechul said as she scrolled down my messages

My eyes widened with shock

“Kris told us” Sungmin said

I just continued eating. Kris suddenly seats beside me and takes a bite off my sandwich.

“why didn’t you tell me?” I said to Kris

“tell you what?”

“that you told them we’re getting married?”

“you know how those two can torture me” he then takes another bite

It’s 2 weeks before the wedding. Kris and I were left alone in the classroom. We were in a heated argument. (note: I forgot what we were fighting about) I was in the verge of tears

Kris: okay. Let’s play heads or tails.

Me: *sobs* okay

Kris: if it’s heads we’re getting married. If it’s tails I’ll tell you something

Me: okay. *stops sobbing*

First toss: heads

Second toss: heads

Third toss: heads

Kris: why won’t it be tails!

Me: you do know I’m still going to marry you no matter what

Fourth toss: heads

Fifth toss: tails

Kris suddenly grabs my hand and pulls me to the door. He was giggling.

Kris: we’re getting married. Now.

What? Now? As in right now? He must be crazy. We arrive in court and he hands some papers to the judge. I was looking at myself because I was still in uniform

Kris: you look beautiful

Me: no, I’m not.

The judge conducts the civil wedding. I suddenly heard him say

“I promise to make you smile every single day. I will not make you cry. I will keep you to myself. I’ll love you for the rest of our lives. I will protect you. I will everything just for you.” He suddenly smiles at me as puts the ring on my finger.

“I promise to be good to you. I will obey and treasure our love. I will always be by your side. I will love you for the rest of my life. I love you.” I said

I was in a haze all throughout the wedding. I almost forgot to say ‘I do’ I was really nervous. I got back to my senses when he kissed me. I was now Mrs. Wu. I couldn’t believe it. At the age of 16, I was married. It was the happiest day of my life.

It was foundation week. I was busy playing volleyball when he suddenly back hugged me. I excused myself from the game. It’s been 2 weeks since we got married. I was really happy. We’re not living together and only his family knows that we got married because if my family knew they’d probably disown me and through me out. We were still not prepared for that. I mean I know his family would accept me. His mother loves me and treats me like her own.

We got into a fight. I am very disobedient at times. He told me not to play under the sun because I have a very sensitive skin and I easily get sunburned but I still played volleyball under the sun. He didn’t notice me for the rest of the morning. Okay, so it was my fault but I didn’t want to say sorry. It wasn’t pride that stopped me. I think it was the fact that he now rules over my life because we’re married. One wrong move I make would make him angry and it suffocated me.

“where are you going?” Kris suddenly grabs my arm to stop me from running

“somewhere” I said and released myself from his grip

My friends and I hanged out at the auditorium. We were busy watching students practice their performance when I heard my phone ring. It was Kris. I rejected the call. I know I’m adding fuel to the fire but I just really need and alone time. I need to vent out my anger and I also need a good cry. Kris suddenly enters the auditorium and immediately sees me. He doesn’t approach but rather he seats at the middle section of the auditorium. My friends and I were seated at the far back. I asked them if we could buy some drinks downstairs because I was parched but the truth was I didn’t want to be with him today. We were bought some drinks and decided to spend time at the canteen. 2 hours later Kris’ friend approaches me

“Kris, is looking for you” he said

“okay.” And I continued talking to my friends

An hour later we all decided to go home. Kris was nowhere to be found. I decided to home because it was already dark. My friend suggested that I ride home with her and I agreed. We were playing basketball to pass the time. The ball suddenly rolled away from us so I had to run after it. Hands beat me to get the ball. It was Kris. He suddenly runs with the ball and shoots it. When I got close to them, he suddenly pulls me and hugs me. He placed his hand behind my neck and kissed me. I was surprised.

“I’m sorry.” Was all he said

I hugged him back at kissed his neck. “it’s okay. It was my fault” and snuggled onto his chest.
