Mary's point of view:
We got all of our bags into the back of Darry's truck. Then we all split up into two different cars for this very long drive to the lake house. Darry, Soda, Pony, and Steve went into Darry's truck. While me, Dallas, Johnny, and Two got into Two's car. I got stuck in the back with Dallas. Every time the car turned I would ram into Dally. After I got sick of doing that I started singing along to the radio with Two-Bit. About half way to the lake house it was already dark outside. I got tired and rested my head on the window but every time Two hit a bump I would hit my head and wake up. "Come here baby girl." Dallas said in a low voice pulling me toward him. He then cradled me in his big strong arms. I felt like I could lay like this forever. I started to dose off when all of a sudden there was a loud BANG. "What the hell was that!" I questioned. "A damn bird flew into the windshield." As those words left Two's mouth I couldn't help but laugh as I was thinking about my mom. I then drifted back off to sleep in Dally's arms.

As we arrived at the lake house it was pitch black. "Okay Soda, Steve, Pony, and I will take the first cabin. You guys get the second one." Darry spoke up. I then got my bag out his truck. "I'm watching you two." Darry said in a serious voice. "I'm old enough to do what I want." I said winking at him as I walked away. "Yea I know but you will always be my baby sister." He said as I made it up my cabin steps. "Whatever helps ya sleep at night." I yelled to him as I entered my cabin. "Who are you yelling to." Two asked as I entered. "Just Darry who's got the downstairs and who has the loft?" I asked. "You and Dallas have the loft." Two said as I walked upstairs where Dallas was already unpacking. "Hey baby." He said getting up and kissing my neck. I was about to say something before Soda screamed to our cabin that there having a camp fire. I then lead Dallas down the steps and to the fire pit where the gang was. Shorty after they got the fire going and we roasted hot dogs for dinner. We then began to roast s'mores. I got bored of all that so I took off running into the night towards the lake while stripping everything but my bra and underwear off. I heard footsteps behind me but I didn't know who it was I just kept running. I then jumped into the lake. As the cold water hit my body I was covered in goosebumps. As I was under the water I heard someone else jump in. I then felt warm strong arms wrap around me. "Didn't think I would catch you?" Dallas growled in my ear. "I knew you would that's why I ran." I said kissing him. It then turned into a make out session in the freezing cold lake. "Hey love birds we're going to bed." Johnny screamed. Dallas then lead me to a towel by the fire that was still burning. We just laid there in a comfortable silence as I drifted off to sleep.
