~Chapter 1~

*Maddys POV*

"Mom please don't leave me-" i pleaded as she caressed my cheek.
"What am i gonna do without you?" I continued.

"Madison promise me when I'm gone you'll listen to your father" i slightly nodded and smiled painfully.

Tears flooded my eyes when the sound of machine went blank, i was taken out of the room by a nurse and put in the waiting room.
Some man came up and hugged me, i looked at him in confusion. I scanned his face he was pretty good looking, around my age.

"Who are you?"

"I'm cody. I'm here to take you to your father" what the hell? that asshole couldn't come get me himself. My dad left when i was 5 to go with his riche girl friend but she passed a year ago.

"Oh ok" i said quietly, he drove me to my house and i packed everything in the car.

It was a good 5 hour drive there.

We pulled up to the house, or should i say mansion, it was huge!

Cody showed me to my room and handed me a wade of cash.

"Woah, what is this?"

"Your father wants you to go shopping for tonight"

"Why, what's tonight?"

"It is a welcome party, to welcome you to your new home" i nodded and slightly smiled. I felt my eyes beginning to leak with tears, a drop landed on the bills in my hands. I don't want anything from my father i mean he has never been there for me and now all of a sudden he cares, i haven't talked to him in 13 years and now i have to live with him.

Wow what a great life I'm living.

I decided to go to the mall, i opened my bedroom door to find a key on the floor with a note attached to it that read
Just a little welcome home present

I rolled my eyes and looked at the key, it was a car key to a Audi S7. I almost started jumping up and down, i ran outside and saw it parked on the curb in all it's glory. It was white with a leather interior, i completely fell in love.

I really don't want anything from my father but i guess i will accept this generous gift.

On the way to the mall i stopped for starbucks, i got my usual caramel frap, yeah i know I'm so basic.

After a few stores i got a little hungery so i went to McDonald's, i bumped into some chic and dropped my bags.

"I'm so sorry"

"It's fine" i scanned her and found that we were wearing almost the same outfit.

"Ooo love your outfit"

"Haha yours too"

"umm do you come here often?"

"no i just moved here"

"oh well do you wanna grab something to eat?"

"Sure how about-"

"McDonald's"i joined in with her, we laughed and started to walk.

After lunch with my new friend Kolby, we said our goodbyes and i suggested for her to text me later she nodded and i left.

When i got back to the house i went to my wing, i know right i have my own side of the house it's pretty cool, i mean i could get used to living here as long as i don't have to talk to my dad.
I walked in and there were at least 5 people touching my stuff

"Hey what are you doing?!"they stopped and starred, until one spoke up

"We are unpacking for you"
