~Chapter 63~

*Kolby's POV*

"why? 6 months ago you wouldn't of gave two shits about me or my baby"

"Kolby now you know thats not true" she gasps.

"oh really... so you remember what you said to me when i told you about my pregnancy" i test her, she just looks at me not knowing what to say.

yea thats what i thought

"i think you should leave"

just as she was about to say something Grayson walked in.

"oh hey Ms. Ellis" he says awkwardly, he stands behind me with his arm around my waist. "whats going on here?" he whispers to me.

"she was just leaving" i say a bit louder for her to hear, she glares at me and slowly leaves the room.

it saddens me that she has become this, she actually used to be a really good mom. until i turned 13 and i was old enough for her to blame, we became distant and she found Kevin.

he abused her then me while she watched, she did nothing and i guess thats why im still salty to this day. i want to help her get out of her realationship but she wont let me she'll just yell at me and say im out of line and a disappointment not like i havent heard that enough.

"are you okay?" Gray asks.

"yea, why wouldnt i be" i furrow my eyebrows.

"You're crying" i didnt even notice that i was.

"she used to be the best mom" i say.

"i know" he pulls me into a hug, i take a deep breath taking in his scent. i pull away and catch a glimpse at Alana shes so cute.

"i want to be a good mom"

"you will babe. i know you will" Gray assures me.

after we finish eating i fell asleep on those uncomfortable waiting chairs, while leaning on Gray.

when i woke up it was morning and the sound of baby cries filled my ears.

a nurse is standing over Alanas bed trying to get her to calm down. i get u and try helping, Alanas eyes light up.

i grab her little hand and she tightens her grip, i smile to myself.

"thank you so much I've been trying to get her to stop" the nurse sighs, i laugh. "also you will be able to take her home in about an hour or so"
she nods while leaving the room, i smile.

"gray wake up" i whisper shaking him, soon his eyes start to flutter open.

"the nurse said we can go in about an hour"i squeal.

"thats great babe" he yawns closing his eyes again.

"gray stay awake with me please" i plead. "I'll text E, Madi and jasmine to come to keep us company" i suggest, he looks at me.

"fine. but let me sleep till they get here" i laugh, he smiles with his eyes closed.

15 mintues later Madi and Ethan show up with little Jasmine, shes almost as cute as Alana but not quite.

we all chat for awhile till a nurse brings me discharge papers and we're free to go.
