~Chapter 66~

*Ethan's POV*

okay day 2

so far so good the girls mostly sleep anyway, and there was just one incident yesterday which wasnt all that bad;)

this morning there was some crying but it wasnt bad.

Madi enters the kitchen rubbing her eyes and yawning.

"how did you sleep?" i ask, she scoffs.

"what sleep? they cried all night Ethan!"

"it didnt bother me" i chuckle.

"because you weren't the one who got up to check on them every five minutes"she holds her head, i frown. "can i have some Tylenol?" she asks, i nod and hand a tablet to her. i get her a glass of water to help it go down.

"here how about you go back to sleep and i watch the girls for the rest of the morning" i suggest.

"nah i can make it"

"doesnt matter if you can make it, i know for a fact you can't take it"

"when did you become poetic?" she glares at me.

"just go to bed" i push her out of the kitchen.

"fine. but im setting a alarm!"

"understood!"

she heads upstairs and shuts our bedroom door.

i go and check on the girls to see if they're awake.

both of their eyes were open so i went back downstairs to make up their bottles.

i feed Alana first and then jasmine, they look simular but i can tell which one is which.

Alana has brown eyes like Kolby and Jasmine has hazel like Madison, just like her mothers they have white dots that dance around in her pupils.

shes beautiful.

later that morning the baby monitor goes off and i hear the girls crying.

neither of them would calm down and i didnt know what to do, i didn't know when Madison would be up so i had to wake her up myself.

"Madison wake up" i shake her, she puts a pillow over her head. "madison please it's an emergency!"

"you said you could handle it!" she mumbles, i could hear the anger in her voice.

"that was before they were crying" i panic, she glares at me. after about a few seconds she finally hurried up and into the nursery.

as soon as she walked in Jaz stopped crying and because of that Alana stopped crying too.

"i guess they wanted to see you" i half smile, she gives me the same glare. "what? not like i could do anything if they wanted to see you" she finally gives up and calms down.

"true" she sighs, she picks up Jaz and sways her back and forth. Alana starts crying probably because she wasn't getting attention, i pick her up but she still crys.

"here switch me" Madison suggests, we switch our little persons and Alanas cries soon fade. i look down at Jasmine and notice shes smiling at me, shes definitely gonna be her father's daughter.

we leave the girls to sleep after we change them and once again its peaceful in the big house.

me and madison sit in the living room on seperate couches.

"sorry for being so crabby" she pouts, moving towards me. i open my legs so that she could sit on my lap, she does so.

" It's okay my babygirl is just tired huh?" she nods and snuggles into the crook of my neck. "sweet dreams" i kiss her on her head.
