~Chapter 36~

*Maddy's POV*

the cops whispered to one another

"Mrs. are you shot?" one asks, i shake my head no but that only makes Charles jab the gun harder into my head. they whisper once again before speaking.

"sir please let this lady go she appears to be having miscarriage"

"you think im a fucking doctor?! what does that mean?!" Charles yells.

"it means the baby is dead Charles.... you killed my baby" i whisper, Charles started raging i could feel him start to shake.

"no...no...no. NO NO!" he shoves me to the ground and points the gun at me, everything was happening so fast.

BANG!

i closed my eyes tightly waiting for pain to spread, but nothing. i open my eyes and see Charles lifeless body laying before me, i started shaking. i put my legs to my chest and my head in my hands, my cheeks damp from many tears before.

i was taken to the ambulance to be checked for any injuries, a car pulled up and Ethan ran out.

"Madison!" he yelled.

"Ethan!" i ran into his arms and held me so tight, i felt so safe in his arms. he pulled away and held my cheeks

"are you ok did he hurt you?" he asked.

"no not-"

"oh thank god" he cut me off. how am i going to tell Ethan about the miscarriage.

"Ethan i have to tell you something"

"what is it?" he said holding my hands.

"the baby didn't make it" i simply say.

"what do you mean?" his smile drops, i take a deep breath.

" i had a miscarriage" i breathe, his eyes became watery.

"not my baby boy" he crys.

"im sorry Ethan" i cry into his shoulder, we stay like this for a few minutes before pulling away.

"It's okay baby as long as you're okay" he says, i nod and he pecks my lips.

*Ethan's POV *

i can't believe my baby boy is gone at least i still have Madison without her i dont know what i would do.

i was laying on our bed when she entered the room and i let a single tear fall.

"you know Ethan we can always try again" she weakly smiles patting my leg.

"really?" i say with a little hope.

"of course" she smiles pecking my lips, i grab her neck deepening the kiss. i lick her bottom lip asking for enterance but she denies and pulls away.

"not right now Ethan" she whispers against my lips, i nod and she snuggles into me soon falling asleep.
