Blusies P.O.V
"Change of plans everyone," Max announced, " We are leaving now and going east."
Everyone nodded and began stand up.
Pearl raised her eyebrows, silently telling me it was alright.
I took a deep breath and slowly began stretching out my wings.
~ Ten minutes later
" You just flap really fast, okay? Don't forget to flap and if something goes wrong just yell, okay?" Iggy explained, then he opened his wings and jumped out of the cave.
I stood at the mouth of the cave and took a shaky breath. Slowly, I opened my wings and jumped.
I began plummeting toward the ground. Then I flapped my wings, like Iggy said, and began rising away from the ground.
Earlier, I had met the other members of the flock. Nudge, who liked to talk a lot. Gazzy, an adorable pyro who can copy voices, and Angel, a tiny girl of six who could read minds.
Lily, the other winged girl who escaped with us, had quickly bonded with Nudge. They talked nonstop for the next hour.
"I'm hungry, Max," Gazzy declared.
The others quickly agreed and I nodded.
"Alright, we'll stop," Max replied.
About thirty minutes later, we were all eating pancakes and eggs at IHOP.
"What's on your wrist, Blusie?" Nudge asked, after finishing her blueberry pancakes.
I looked down at my wrist and saw the cuff I had to wear at the School.
"I dunno. They put it on me at the School," I told her.
The cuff was black an about two inches wide. I slide it off my wrist and threw it to the floor.
After everyone finished, we left and began flying again. I had a little trouble getting into the air.
"God!" Nudge said, "Its just so, so... you know?"
"Yeah, I know," Max said.
Nudge continued to talk about flying and how other kids were in school and we were flying.
Suddenly Max made an odd noise and began falling, fast. Her arms were wrapped around her skull like she had a headache.
"Max!" Nudge and I screamed.
Fang sped toward her and scooped her up.
"Max, are you okay?" Nudge asked.
"Uh-huh," Max muttered, "Find a place to land, please."
