This is very important.

Peter was pretty tiny. And he looked almost identical to Arthur.
It wasn't that unbelievable. Peter was his biological son, after all. They did that whole surrogate thing after they got married. Apparently one depressed teen wasn't enough for Lukas and Arthur's new family.
But this kid was far from what Matthew had been ten years before.
"Hi!" He smiled brightly at his older sibling like they were friends.
They weren't friends.
Matthew scowled and took the tiny Spiderman backpack that Lars handed to him.
"You can sleep in the back room." The younger adult declared, walking in that direction without even looking at the child. He set the backpack on the bed and walked right into his own room.
"Matthew," Lars grabbed onto the back of his shirt and pulled him back out before he could close the door. "Where are you going?"
"To work. You told me to get some work done."
"Staring at a blank page doesn't count as work."
"But-"
"Help him get settled in."
Peter was standing in the middle of the hallway, blinking innocently.
Matthew sighed, knowing that Lars would get is way no matter what it took. The Canadian leaned in and whispered in his ear so the boy wouldn't hear.
"I don't know what to do."
"Show him around the house."
"Oh...uh..." Matthew gestured to his bedroom. "This is my room. Yours is over there. The bathroom is across the hall and upstairs is off limits unless I say so."
"Why?"
"That's my secret headquarters." Matthew and Lars both knew that Matthew kept his...plants...up there.
Lars handed Matthew a brown paper folder. "This is Gilbert's portfolio. I'll be dropping him off in a week."
"Got it." Matthew took the folder and slipped it into the bookshelf next to him. "I'll take a look later."
"So you wanna play transformers with me?!" Peter tugged lightly on Matthew's shirttail.
"I don't think that's-"
"A problem." Lars finished for Matthew. The Canadian glared.
"Yeah. That."
"You can play with my deadpool action figure if you want."
"Shit. I love deadpool." Matthew whispered.
"Language!" Lars hissed.
"Get fucked bud."
Peter giggled softly and took Matthew's hands. "Come on!"
"I'll leave you to it." Lars nodded and started to walk out of the house, scarf trailing behind him.
"Wait! Don't leave me alone!"
"I'll call tomorrow to make sure he's still alive."
"I can't make any promises." Matthew waved his editor away as he was pulled into the guest room.
Peter opened the bag Matthew had set down and started pulling out toys. Matthew was surprised at how much he could fit in there.
"This is Optimus Prime, dad ordered it online with Amazon Prime." Peter introduced. "And this is deadpool. He's the overlord of the dark void."
"Kid, have you even watched the movie?"
"Dad won't let me."
"That sounds like him." Matthew sighed. "I have it on DVD if you want to watch it later."
"Really?!"
"Yeah. Just don't tell dad."
"Or course!" Peter cheered. "I can't wait."

Me babysitting: hey kid, wanna watch deadpool who is Canadian along with his actor.
