Chapter 5

I furrowed my eyebrows, but kept my mouth shut.

She sighed, running a hand through her short hair.

"I'm Alchemic Nightmare. I'm a proud fucking killjoy, who lives here in zone 3.

My job, is to protect all of the killjoys. Whether it be here in my zone, or even out in Battery City. And with you guys gone..."

She stopped short, noticing the confusion on my face.

"The world has gone to complete hell...I don't even think you can even begin to understand.."

She ran a nervous hand through her hair again.

"From being abducted from BL/ind, I don't think you remember...but you used to be a killjoy too. You and your sister.

You worked with the Fabulous Four...the 4 dracs/killjoys back there in that room. Everybody looked up to them...to you.

Thats when BL/ind took your sister away from you. They've been trying to exterminate the Fab Four for years...and when you and your sister joined the Four..they immedietely took action.

Well, what had happened was, BL/ind saw you guys as their weaknesses. The moment the Four fell in love..BL/ind would take that away. To use it against them. It was their method to extermination.

...when they had taken your sister..they thought it would affect Kobra Kid. But..they left out a missing piece. Kobra didn't go out to find her..You did."

So far, their planned had backfired. But Korse found a way around it. In fact, it made his plan even stronger. He used both of you guys against the Four..he even faked your sisters death.

..I don't know how he did it, but it was unbelievable. It was so real..."

She lightly cleared her throat.

"So...the Four had to be smart about what they did, and how. They immedietely took action...racing up to the facility before BL/ind could do anything to you. They switched the settings, setting all of the facilities ray guns to "stun," its a miracle they didn't get caught.

So they waited...waited for the right moment to attack.

They had to save you...it was too much of a risk to let you die. They didn't know about your sister..

They saved you, getting heavily stunned in the process. You were sheltered in Dr.Deaths radio station. Something happened..the full story wasn't told..but you somehow escaped.

They knew you had gone back to the Diner though..based on the direction you ran.

But what they didn't know..was the plan you were scheming.

You faught everything to get the boy's back...to avenge your sister.

But..the BL/ind abducted you. They finally won..they had all of the leaders..and everything went downhill.

It was horrific, most of our killjoys died trying to save the Four...tragic really.

I had no choice...I broke into the system. I found a drac costume..and fit in until it was time. I didn't even know they had your sister...no one did. We all thought she was dead.

But our world was lost without you guys. I'm so glad you all came back safe and sound..you have no idea. Wait 'til everyone finds out."

She sighed, something hidden sparkling in her eyes.

"But while I was there..I found out a lot more. They have killjoys locked up in those cages...who knows how long they had been there! We have to save them Nebula."

That name caught me off guard a little..that other girl called me that as well.

I slowly nodded, letting everything seep in.

Memories began flooding my head, flashing in scenes, like a movie in my head.

I sighed, taking in every word.

We had to save them..even if we die in the process, there's no going back.
