I stood up from where I sat, sighing and running my fingers through my hair.
Party looked up at me.
I met his eyes. He never flinched, but kept his eyes locked on mine.
"What?" I asked.
He shook his head, standing up as well. "Nothing." He said.
I frowned as he walk away, watching him walk over to Nightmare and Ghoul.
I made my way to the Trans-Am, slipping into the passengers side.
Since we didnt have as many passengers, only Me, Nightmare, Ghoul and Party, then I could sit beside Party as he drove.
I wonder what he was thinking about?
I wished I could slip into his mind once in a while... he's always so deep in thought.
I sighed, flipping my hair part to the other side as I ran my fingers through my hair.
Party, Nightmare and Ghoul entered the car, Ghoul and Nightmare's hands intertwined with one anothers as they squeezed into the backseat.
Party started up the Trans-Am, switching gears and speeding down the vacant dirt road.
The drive was quiet, except for the subtle murmur coming from the two in the backseat.
I gazed out of my window, watching the arid landscape speed by.
Suddenly we were pulling into the Diner's drive, parking the car around the back.
I got out, walking around the side up to the front, Party following my feet.
We stepped inside, and I was immedietely thrown off.
The entire place had been thoroughly cleaned.
The clutter picked up and regarded, everything put back where they belonged.
The walls and booths had been sanitized... almost clean enough to belong in Battery City.
"Holy shit.." Party awed.
Jet, Silver and Kobra cleaned the whole place up, all individually moving around the Diner.
An old radio was stationed on one of the booths, blasting old music through the speakers.
"You guys need some help?" I offered.
Silver looked up at me.
"Yeah actually." She lifted a box up onto the counter.
"Sort through that." She said, turning and going back to what she was doing.
I nodded, looking inside.
It was filled to the brim with junk, things that could've easily been years and years untouched.
I sighed, beginning to lift mescellaneous objects from the box.
"Need any help?" Party offered.
I looked up at him, meeting his eyes.
They burrowed deeply into mine.. penetrating deep within my irises. I could almost feel his gaze burning against my irises.
Butterflies roared in my stomach, making my heart leap into my throat.
I was at a loss of words, so I just nodded.
He reached his hand inside, rummaging through the objects.
His hand must've landed on something, because he suddenly froze up.
He lifted the object out of the box, bringing it to his face.
A look of horror crossed his features.
"Party what is it?" I asked.
A few set of eyes wandered over in our direction.
His eyebrows furrowed in worry... or maybe confusion. His eyes were iced and locked on the object, which seemed to be small enough to fit in the palm of his hand.
She shook his head, rage suddenly boiling over in his eyes.
What seemed to be... tears, were brimming his eyes as he spun around, marching down the dark hallway into his room.
I sighed, looking around the room.
Everybody wore a face of concern.
I looked inside the box, old photographs littering the bottom of the box.
