(A/N I know I know it's been like a year since I've written this. Don't yell at me)
Knock knock knock.
"Party? please open up... " I tried again.
I remained sat right outside of his door, my knees curled up to my chest.
I don't know how many times I had tried to get him to answer, or the amount of hours I've sat outside of this door.
Everyone had already been done for the day, and settled into their sleeping arrangments.
But I continued to sit here..
Finally, realization dawned on me that he was probably already sleeping.
I sighed in frustration, standing up to my feet.
I hesitantly opened the door.
A faint light illuminated the room by a lamp that sat on the wooden desk in the corner.
I allowed my eyes to adjust, to see that Party was face down on the desk, his breathing soft and steady.
I slowly approached him, careful not to wake him.
My eyebrows creased as I gazed down at strewn photographs that laid across the surface.
I picked one up, to see a very beautiful women.
She had slightly longer than shoulder-length black hair, which fell easily beside her beautiful round face.
She was smiling brightly at the camera, her eyes creased at the edges, and her lips curved into a real smile.
I smiled lightly. She was so beautiful, I wonder who she was?
I looked down at the desk again, to see a few other photographs.
I picked them up, the first one was of her again, this time with someone else.
I looked closer..
She smiled pleasantly at the camera, as Party, or I assumed was Party, was kissing the side of her head as he glanced sideways at the camera.
He had looked so much more different...
His skin was fair and pale, whereas he had more color to him now, and his hair was brown and much shorter.
His pronounced hazel eyes practically glowed, as her brown eyes sparkled happily.
She didn't seem to be related to Party at all..maybe distant relative?
I flipped the picture to the bottom of the stack, examining the next one.
My heart beat dropped to the pit of my stomach, as I gazed shocked at the next photo.
It was of Party and the other girl again, exactly the same as the last picture, except this time she was turned to him, her eyes closed and lips pressed to Party's.
Oh my god..
I felt tears begin to develop in my eyes, as I continued flipping through.
Many of these were of the girl, dancing and laughing happily.
Another picture seemed to catch my attention.
I gazed horrified at the same women laid on a bed of grass under the shade of a tree, a little girl laid across her chest.
The women had her eyes closed as she held the little girl close to her heart.
My heart beat completely stopped as realization fell over me.
Was that...her daughter?
I brought my hand up to my mouth, tears threatening to trickle down my cheeks.
I dropped the photographs, nausia washing over me as I became light headed.
I trailed my eyes over to sleeping Party.
He looked so peaceful, though his eyebrows were slightly creased in.. worry?
I noticed that his free hand was placed carefully over something.
I slowly lifted his hand, careful not to wake him.
I retrieved it, holding it carefully in my hands.
I gazed down at it in wonder.
It was a small box, black and velvety. It was light, with hinges on the back.
I carefully opened it, gasping in horror.
A beautiful diamond wedding ring shone beautifully inside..
