I threw the stone as hard as I could,  watching it create ripples over the water,  then sink below the surface.

The lake shimmered beautifully under the sunlight.

I sighed,  wrapping my arms around my curled up legs.

I sat just above the water's edge,  relaxing under the radiant sun.

Ghoul and Nightmare sat a few meters away, cross legged,  facing one another.

I watched as a concerned look crossed over Nightmares face as she listened intently at what Ghoul had been saying.

I closed my eyes,  lowering my head into my knees.

A gentle hand suddenly laid over my arms.

I lifted my head, my eyes meeting with beautiful hazel orbs.

"Hey." Party whispered.

A slight smile crossed my lips.

He settled down beside me,  resting his arms over his knees.

I kept my eyes locked on Ghoul and Nightmare,  as they continued their seemingly deep conversation.

"What are you thinkin' about?" He asked.

I sighed.  "Whats going on between Ghoul and Nightmare?" I asked.

He turned his attention to them,  furrowing his eyebrows.

"It looks as if he is falling for her."  He answered.

I turned to him.  "You think?"

He slowly began to nod.

I turned back to see Nightmare stand up,  turning away from him.

Ghoul suddenly stood up,  hastily trying to follow her.

He reached out to her,  gently grasping her arm.

My heart rate sped up as I watched him lock lips with her.

My eyes widened,  watching as she kissed him back.

I turned to Party,  who was gaping at the scene.

"Falling for her huh?" I asked,  letting out a low chuckle.

He turned to me,  flickering a soft smile.

"Definetely."  He added.

I looked up again,  them gazing amarously at each other as their fingers were intertwined.

I couldn't help but feel a blush rise to my cheeks.

I knew something was off with Ghoul... I mean he had always been a goofy guy,  but... not quite whole.

But he found his missing piece.

Nightmare smiled as she leaned in for another kiss,  it was passionate and sweet.

I sighed,  turning my face to face Party as I laid my cheek against my knees.

My hair fell beside me,  dancing gently in the breeze.

Party continued to watch them,  a strange look plastured on his face.

His soft brown hair fell in strands over his eyes, contrasting elegantly with his hazel irises.

I twisted my attention back to the lake,  watching as the breeze rippled the water,  creating rays of light to bounce around over the surface.

I sighed,  letting my thoughts drift away with the ripples.

When will this pain end..
