Prince POV
So I’m at football practice, did I mention I was captain? When I see the cheerleaders running. And one of those cheerleaders happens to be, Jessie. I saw Mia run pass a blow me a kiss. I tried to act like I didn’t see her. Now that I think about it Mia is really getting old. Plus yesterday Roc told me about everything that was going on. He even mentioned the mall incident. Now I did see her with others guys sometimes but I just let it go. But now I’m realizing that, that slut wasn’t worth losing my bestfriend over. Ughh I’m so fucking stupid. Got me thinking she actually liked me. She only wanted me for my money, cause I was captain, and to get close to Roc. Then I saw all the girls leave except for Jessie and her 2 other friends. They started walking over here. I looked jessie up and down and licked my lips. But imediately my eyes stopped at her stomach. WHEN THE HELL DID SHE GET A BELLY BUTTON PIERCING??!! She started talking to coach and then they went over to the bleachers and started rscing. She won. She won. She was always the athletic type. This was my chance to talk to her to get everything straight, to get everything back ton the way it was. I started to walk over there but Issa gets to her before I do.
Jessie POV
When we finish we just sit down and talk. That’s when I hear “Ayo Jessie?” I looked up and saw one of the schools sexiest boys EVER. The one and only Issa. He was BEAUTIFUL. Probaly not cuter than Jacob but the boy is GORGEOUS!!
I couldn’t help but blush as his hazel-green eyes fell apon me. His long dreds that was tied to the back looked flawless. He walked over to the bleachers and sat next to me.
Issa: Wassup girl!
Jessie: haha hey Issa.
Issa: haha wat up Sky, Tracy.
Them: Hey Issa.
Issa: So Jess you going to the homecoming dance, right?
Jessie: Uh I haven’t really found a date yet.
Issa: forreal? Cool. So you wouldn’t if I asked you?
The girls giggle behind me.
Jessie: Um no I wouldn’t.
Issa: Ok well Jessie would you like to go to homecoming with me?
Jessie: (dramatic wait)
Issa: I understand if you don’t want to
Jessie: No I would love to Issa.
He smiled big and I smiled back. God. He is….beautiful. he’s in the rap department and he’s good at it too unlike some of the others.
I look pass him and see the rest of the football team getting ready to leave.
Jessie: Well looks like you’re about to leave.
He turns around.
Issa: yup. Well I’ll see you around.
Jessie: Okay bye Issa.
He turned around and kissed my cheek before leaving.
Issa: Bye ladies.
Them: Bye Issa.
Sky: ohhhhhh Jessie!!
Jessie: What?
Tracy: Girl don’t play with us? Do you not understand that Issa just asked you to the homecoming dance??
Jessie: Yeah I understand. Haha bye yall.
Them: Bye.
I get up and walk over to Ray.
Jessie: Hey.
Ray: Wassup?
Jessie: Boredness.
Ray: Oh wow. So whats up with you and Issa?
Jessie: Nothing he just asked me to homecoming.
Ray: and you said?
Jessie: I said yes.
He smiled at me.
Jessie: What?
Ray: You like him don’t you?
Jessie: No-Yes-Maybe.
Ray: Haha well can you do me a favor?
Jessie: Uh yeah.
Ray: Help me ask out this girl I really like?
Jessie: Of course. Who is it?
Ray: …..Skylar.
My jaw dropped.
Ray: Naw don’t get me wrong I still love you. You were my first high school crush and first girl bestfriend, but its just something about her that I like.
I smiled. Yeah he still loves me.
Jessie: ahhahaha. Okay Ray. I’ll see what I can do.
Ray: Okay haha and when did you get a bellybutton piercing??
I looked down at my stomach. I shook my head.
Jessie: Yall late, I been got that.
Ray: WELL, I was being IGNORED for a month, Jessie.
Jessie: Again I’m sooooo sorry. I just thought it was weird. Because of what happened with Prince.
Ray: Awe. Oh well I’m tired can we just do this 2morrow?
Jessie: yeah. Bye Ray.
Ray: Bye Jess.
We hugged and walked out separate ways.
When I got home I got in the shower,ate, and got in bed to watch T.V. I was watching Madea’s Big Happy Family. Just on the funny part my phone rang.
“Damnit”I said to myself.
I didn’t bother to look at the caller ID, I just answered it.
Jessie: Hello??
???: Hey Jess.
I gasped.
