Author's POV

Here I sat on the bench of a park at 10pm waiting for Anna to arrive. She agreed to come here with me but she was hesitant. I know I shouldn't pressure her but I really wanted her to come. I just told my 'family' that I was going to Taehyung's for tonight to study a little for tomorrow's test, which we actually have. Because I lied to them, I'm not even sure where Im going to be staying tonight...

Have you ever felt that feeling in your stomach were you feel like there's a black hole within you, were your palms feel as if their sweating an ocean and your eyes are you wide open you don't think you'll live to blink ever again? That's how Jimin felt at this moment in time. Slowly, Jimin wiped his hands over his joggers for the one hundredth time that night before adjusting the hoodie in his head. His hands shook vigorously, almost finding it physically hard to control his own hand.

"Be cool. You invited her; not the other way around. Breath," he told himself repeatedly while bitting at his inner cheek that looked like he would be able to pull off check piercings by the end of the night.

He tried to smoothly run his hands through his hair, every strand covered and clumped together with gel-like sweat, knees bobbing like a basket ready to fly off into the hoop any second now. Too scared to face Anna again after all of the avoiding and his sisters threats, he stood up in the blink of an eye and faced the gate of the park. He searched around his pockets for his phone to message Anna and bail out before stopping, halting to do a second check for his phone... And again... And again...

A brow furrowed Jimin spun round to check if his phone had somehow ended up on the bench or on the floor nearby. After having no look of spotting the phone he gripped and pulled at his hair harshly, pacing up and down the side of the park bench.

"No... Not today... Where is it!?!?" He whispered to himself, slumping back down onto the bench in defeat.

"Hi," a small voice from behind me squealed.

Knowing who it was, my first instinct was to pull her into the biggest hug I've ever given. She grabbed onto the back of my hoodie and pushed me into a kiss. I could tell she was waiting for this and she wasn't the only one. My hands crept to her waist where I started to embrace softly, burying my head into the crook of her neck and placing small kisses in between my smiles.

The smell of innocence cherries comforted me as Anna continued to hold me tightly. We stood there for a while, just looking at each other with something in our eyes; something I couldn't describe until I took her hand in mine like a puzzle piece and strayed off into the scenery...
