I had been staying at Vics for a few weeks now, my aunt hadn't even tried to call or text. I always had my phone charged just in case she called and it was always with me and the ringer was never off. But to my dismay she never call, texted, hell she never even tried to email me for petes sake.

"Vic," I mumbled that Friday night as we were laying on his bed on our tummys on our phone. He looked up at me and I continued, "I want to go back to my aunts. Like, now."

"You want to go back? Or do you just want to go there first and see what happens?" He asked slowly as he sat up.

I too sat up, "No, I want to go home."

He nodded, "okay, any particular reason for this so suddenly Kells?"

"I just miss my aunt, my bed, my home." I mumbled sadly.

"Okay then, let's go get your stuff and we'll go." He smiled softly. I nodded. I didn't want to go back home, I didn't really miss my aunt. I miss the person she used to be, but mostly I missed my parents. My aunt was as close to my parents I had.

Before long I was stood outside my aunts house bags in hand. Her car was in the driveway and I told Vic to go. He was very reluctant but I guess he eventually realized how much I needed to do this by myself. I raised my fist and shakily knocked on the door. I waited a second and it flew open. "Kelly!" She shrieked happily and threw her arms around me.

"H-hi aunt Margaret." I stuttered, was she really just going to forget everything that had happened. She looked like nothing ever happened. I mean so did I except for the faint scratch underneath my eye.

"Come in, come in. I'll help you with your bags." She smiled.

Once my bags were all unpacked me and my aunt were in my room and I sat on my bed and looked up at her from where she stood at the doorway. "Auntie," I sighed, "We have to talk about it."

"About what dear?" She asked still smiling and she seemed genuinely confused.

"You-y-you hit me." I struggled to spit out the words and tears threatened to spill but I chocked them back.

She gasped, "Kelly I would never! Now get that disgusting thought out of your head and come down for supper in an hour." She smiled.

Was she delusional? She definitely hit me, pretty fucking hard too.

She came back into my room and made me jump, "Kelly, what do you want for supper?" As she crossed her hands over one another I noticed she was wearing the rings still. But they were bloody, my blood, and she didn't remember. "Ooh, tacos! Sounds good to me too." She smiled and skipped out of my room.

This was weird. I grabbed my phone to call Vic but he had beat me to the chase and I held the phone to my ear. "Hey Kellin, how's everything? Are you okay?"

"Yeah yeah, but my aunts not. She's going crazy Vic, she doesn't remember. And she's sort of talking to herself and she won't stop smiling this creepy wide grin. It's terrifying." I said shakily.

"Kellin, um, maybe she's just, or she probably um. Does she take any medication maybe?"

I shook my head, not that he could see me and replied, "Not that I know of, I'm going to go check her room though while she makes supper, I'll call you in a bit."

"Okay, later Kells." And then the line went dead. I sighed before creeping out of my room and down the stairs. I screamed a little when I found her in her room.

"Auntie!" I jumped, "I-I thought you were making supper?"

"What? Kellin can't you fend for yourself sometimes?" She rolled her eyes.
