Vic walked me to school the next day and I showed him all the paths through forests I take when I want to go for a longer walk instead of going straight home.
We just so happened to bump right into Jaime as we entered the school, Tony trailing behind him.
Vic ripped his hand away from mine quickly, "Hey." He said nervously and too quickly.
"Um, hey." Tony said awkwardly,
"Oh uh, Kells, hey." Jaime muttered.
Vic cringed slightly at his calling me nicknames. "By the way, me and Kellin are friends again okay? Everything's good." He looked at me and stressed the word friend.
"Cool, can we talk for a sec Kellin?" Jaime asked, I nodded and he dragged me into a deserted hallway as Tony and Vic walked to their classes.
"So, um, why've you been ignoring me Kellin?" Jaime sighed,
"Well, Hime, I'm so sorry." I sighed running my hand through my hair looking for the nicest way to say this, "Um, I just kind of, moved on, to someone, uh someone else."
"Oh." He mumbled sadly, "Whatever." He huffed before almost jogging out of there.
"Jaim-" I started but stopped noticing he was already gone.

Ah art, what a nice time to talk to Vic. That little shit had explaining to do. Friends, I'll show him friends. "Whatever that means." I muttered as I took my place beside Vic and behind our canvas.
"Oh, um, hey Kellin." He laughed nervously, scratching his neck.
"Hey buddy, pal, good ol' friend of mine." I replied an obviously fake smile plastered across my face as I sassily crossed my arms over my chest.
"Kellin," he sighed and ran his fingers through his hair, "No one knows okay?"
"Knows what?" I asked, hoping he wasn't saying what I thought.
He gave me an annoyed stare but sighed and continued, "No one knows that," he lowered his voice to a whisper "that I'm bi, alright." He glued his eyes to the canvas and painted thin lines with red.
"But Jaime's gay, and you and Tony know and Tony's okay with it."
"I don't really care what anyone else thinks Kells, but," he stopped to blink back tears and took a deep breath before starting again, "My dad. He's made it very clear that gay or bi or anything other than a boy and girl is very wrong to him. I mean, he's stabbed me knowing I was straight Kellin, I don't know what would happen if it got back to him somehow. Please understand, I'm sorry."
"No Vic, I'm sorry, it's okay, but when you're ready I'm here to do it with you okay?"
He nodded his head and wiped a stray tear off his cheek with his sweater sleeve.

Jaime, Tony, Vic and I were all sat at a lunch table eating the Caesar salad, Vic was to my left and Tony was across from Vic with Jaime right beside him, in front of me.
"My salad is soggy." Tony complained as he pushed his lunch tray to the side.
"I love Caesar salad." Vic piped up, giving me a knowing side glance.
"Kellin makes a killer Caesar." Jaime chimed in.
"I know." Vic snapped a little harshly putting his hand on my thigh protectively.
"Okay," Tony mumbled before going on to ask "Who's heard Blackbear's new album?"
"Oh, it's not nearly as good as Bring Me The Horizons new one." Jaime scoffed
