THE NIGHT BEFORE HER DEATH

I opened my eyes and the scene was different. Where am I? A hospital?
I tried standing up but my abdomen hurt. Oh yeah, I was struck by the man who also hurt me before.
"Are you okay, Andy?" I just realised Jun gripping on my hand and staring at me.
"Yeah" my voice was low and I held his hand.
"I'm so sorry Andy. It was all my fault! I shouldn't have left you there!" Jun's voice was worried and stressed out.
"Actually, I just learned who was trying to kill me Jun, it was the same guy who killed Saneel and you and the guy who attacked me before. But I am happy you're here." I wanted to light up the mood and he clasped my hand tighter and kissed it.
He let go of my hand and reached a box on the table.
"Eat this. Just an early present."
I opened the box and there were cupcakes in it. All chocolate flavoured and they were so pretty!
"So you're telling me there's more coming? Wait, you made this, didn't you?"
"Well I hope you'll like them" and he smiled at me.
I enjoyed eating it. "This is good Jun! I love it!"
He stayed by my side the whole day and night and he wanted to celebrate my birthday the earliest.
I was leaning on his chest as he was hugging me and caressing my hair.
Every stroke he made was sweet and I was falling asleep then.
Only 30 minutes and I'm turning 17 already.
Noa's going to visit me too! And he's going to be mad when he sees and learned what happened to me.
I can't make excuses anyway, he's the new council leader.
The night at the hospital room was silent and it was full moon outside. It made a bright sensation to the room.
I couldn't think of anything to talk about, I just wanted to enjoy Jun's hands touching me. I feel safe that way.
"Do you have any requests for your birthday?" Jun broke the silence.
"Not really. I'm so happy right now."
"Really?"
Before I could ask what he meant, he kissed me.
"Y--you're the one to talk Jun! Sneaking like that!"
"Happy birthday Andy."
He was right. It just turned 12 and I didn't even notice it....
