"Lizzie, can we talk?" Maya, a great friend from last year, said.
"Oh, sure! Why?" Lizzie asked.
"Well, I kinda feel like you prefer her to me!" Maya told her.
"Maya, you know I like you both! You're both my best friends!" Lizzie explained.
"OK then," Maya walked off.
"Lizzie?" asked Ara.
"Maya thinks I'm BFFs with you," she told her friend.
"Aren't you?" asked Arabella, hurt and confused.
"Yes, well, I don't know! I love you both equally!" Elizabeth exclaimed.
"You have to choose me or her," Maya said, "And, if it's not me, then I never want to see you again."
