Over the next few weeks, everything had rather been the same: Julian and Joan had been avoiding Elizabeth, Daisy continued to be sulky, Arabelle had been rather quiet... but after a while, she decided to find Julian.
"Ju! Julian! Look out!" she gasped when she found him lying in the road, injured. A rather large truck was coming towards him and she couldn't bear to look. When the truck was only about a ruler's length away from crushing Julian, Elizabeth rushed into the road. She grabbed Julian and threw him to the other side of the road. It wasn't a perfect throw, but it was out of the way of the moving cars and vans. Suddenly, it all went black...
