Chloe's POV
I smile as I lean over grabbing the bar as Ryan climbs up the latter, I watch as he steps up onto the beam hesitantly looking down.
"Afraid of heights?" I ask with a laugh, he shakes his head as he looks over at me. He hates heights it's obvious, I smile and look down at the net.
"It's completely safe watch" I say before I take a step back as I hold onto the horizontal bar, with both hands. I take a deep breath before I jump off the bream, instead of letting go of the bar to grab the other one. I let the bar go and fall down onto the net. I bounce a few times before looking up at Ryan
"See completely safe!" I yell up to him, I hear him laugh as he looks down at me
"You're crazy" he says
"Come on just take the bar then jump and let yourself fall, so that way you'll know that it doesn't hurt to fall" I say as I move over but stay on the net. He sighs and grabs the bar as it swings over to him, I laugh as he shakes his head.
"I don't even think I'd be strong enough to hold onto a bar as I'm thrown through the air" he says making me burst out laughing.
"It's okay if you fall you hit the net and your jumping to let go anyway" I say, he sighs and takes a step back before jumping off of the beam. I watch as he holds onto the bar as he gets to the middle, he hesitantly drops. He lands on the net landing not far from me bouncing a few times, making me bounce a little
"Duh duh you're still alive!" I yell excitedly making him laugh as he sits up, I stand up. It's hard walking on the net but it's not crazy hard, I walk over before sitting down in front of him.
"That's insane" he says catching his breath, I shrug as I watch him
"That's nothing, letting go of a bar and being in the air. Holding onto nothing while you flip or do something then grab onto the other bar, that's insane." I say as I start playing with my fingers.
"Yeah no thanks" he says making me laugh "show me tho?" He asks, I shrug and stand up.
"You have to come back up tho" I stay making him groan, I laugh a little as he stands up.
"Fine but I'm not jumping again" he says as I climb up the latter first then he does, I lean over and grab the bar before looking around at the chairs that need un staking.
"My favourite part is when the whole crowd just looks so nervous as you let go of that first bar" I say as I look at the bar "then they clap when you grab the next one" I add with a laugh
"You like preforming don't you" Ryan says as he watches me, I nod my head
"Yeah it's a lot of fun, and the whole circus we're like a big family" i reply as I look around the tent before at Ryan "anyway" I add before looking at the bar again
Ryan's POV
"Anyway" I repeat what she says making her laugh as she takes a step back before making sure she has a grip on the bar, I watch as she jumps off the beam and swings over towards the next bar. She lets go of the bar before flipping herself and grabbing onto the next bar. She swings herself over to the beam on the other side of the net, before smiling over at me.
She jumps off the beam again and gets close to the other bar before letting go of the bar, she turns herself around before grabbing the next bar and pulling herself up, so she's sitting on top of the bar.
"Duh duh!" She yells holding her hands up in the air, I laugh making her laugh.
"Your crazy" I say as she sits on the bar, she's sitting on a bar hanging in the air. I suppose if she falls the net is there but still, she's crazy.
"Yeah so what" she says as she swings herself like she's on a swing "at least I'm not scared of heights" she jokes making me laugh
"I'm not scared of heights" I tell her earning a laugh from her, she swings herself over grabbing the other bar before swinging it over to me. I catch it as I give her a confused looks
"Swing over here then pull yourself up so your sitting" she says
"Doesn't it worry you that your in mid air?" I ask her, she shakes her head as she holds onto the rope that holds the bar in the air.
"It's like a swing" she says as she starts swinging again "come on it's fun" she adds, I sigh and grip onto the bar before jumping off the beam. It's like a work out, your pulling yourself up. I say to myself as I try my best to pull myself up, after a struggle I eventually get up so I'm sitting on the bar. I laugh when I realise I'm a far distant from Chloe, who's laughing.
"You could totally preform" she says as she looks over at me
"I know I'm fabulous" I say before looking down at the net below us, she giggles before getting off of the bar. She holds herself from falling as she starts swinging her body back and forth as her hands grip onto the bar, soon she gets the bar to move and she swings over closer to me before pulling herself up so she's sitting on the bar again. The bar swings a little but soon slows down, I smile as we're really close. She's basically in front of me.
"What do you love so much about flying through the air?" I ask her, she shrugs as I hold the rope holding the bar up. Chloe was holding onto one of the ropes but not the two like me, I'm holding onto both the ropes.
"I guess the freedom, you know when your basically flying. The only thing that stops you from falling is the grip you have on this bar" she says as she looks down at the net "its freedom" she adds making me smile.
