Chloe's POV
Ryan and I sat on the net as we talked, we had just got off the bars. I had jumped down but Ryan was hesitant on it, but soon he dropped down. It's pretty funny, but now we are just sitting down on the net.
"So your niece and nephew how old are they?" I ask
"Charlie he is 8 while Bella she's 6" he says "their mother is my sister and well she's a single mother, so I watch them a lot." He says making me smile.
"So your the fun uncle that spoils them?" I ask making him laugh and nod
"Pretty much"
I laugh at his words before I find myself leaning in, Ryan leans in and just as our lips are about to meet someone clears their throat. Making both Ryan and I pull apart, I look over and see my mother. She puts the box she was holding down, and raises an eyebrow at me.
"Hey mom" I say awkwardly as I hesitantly get down off of the net, Ryan does as well. Seriously I just met him yesterday and we already nearly kissed? What is that?
"Who's this?" She asks looking over at Ryan, Ryan extends his hand out to her politely
"I'm Ryan it's nice to meet you ms?" He says as my mother shakes his hand
"Hosterman" she says politely as she lets go of Ryan's hand
"Ms hosterman" Ryan says before looking at me
"Ill see you later Chloe?" Ryan asks me making me nod
"Yeah tomorrow do you want to meet here and we can go get lunch?" I ask making him nod, he says a goodbye to my mother then me before leaving.
"Chloe honey you've never brought a guy into practice before" my mother says once Ryan leaves the tent
"I know but we where meant to hang out but I had to keep practising so we just hung out here" I say with a small shrug as I try my best to make it seem like I don't like him, I mean I barley know him. I can't like him.
"Alright why don't you just get the mats out and practice your routine, they are going to take the net down so others can practice" my mother says as she picks up the box, before going out back of the tent. Out back is where we all get ready for the show, and where we all wait till it's our turn to perform.
A few people come in and start taking the net down as I walk out back, I walk over grabbing a few mats before taking them out front. The circus tent after all was massive, it had to fit everything after all.
I place the mats down and lay on it, looking at the roof of the tent as people start practicing their act. I was honestly to tired to practice anymore, I laugh when Benji comes running over and licks my face. Benji is a small black and white puppy, I sit up scratching behind his ear.
"Hey Benji" I say to him as the other puppies are over practicing with their trainers. "Go on go practice" I tell him then make a hand signal which he knows means to go over there, he runs over there making me smile. I stand up and hesitantly start practicing my routine.
Ryan's POV
"Uncle Ry!!" Bella yells as she runs over to me, I smile as I pick her up
"Hey gorgeous, where's mommy?" I ask as I shut the door and walk down the hallway, I live with my sister and her two kids. I did have my own place, but when I broke up with my ex I moved in with my sister.
"Kitchen" she says, I nod and carry Bella into the kitchen
"Hey" Alison my older sister says as she continues making dinner
"Hey, where's Charlie?" I ask as I sit Bella down on the bar stool
"He went to a friends" she says smiling at Bella before looking up at me "where have you been all afternoon?" she asks with a smile
"Somewhere, I'm taking Bella and Charlie to the circus. Not tomorrow the day after" I tell Alison making her nod
"That's Friday night I'll be working anyway" she says making me laugh "anyway tell me, where have you been?" She asks
"I met someone" I admit making her smile
"Who?" She asks
"Uncle ry has a girlfriend!" Bella yells making Alison laugh
"No I don't missy" I tell her, Alison smiles and shakes her head
"Go upstairs and play" Alison tells her, she nods and gets off of the barstool before running upstairs.
"Spill" Alison tells me as I sit down on the barstool
"She's part of the circus" I say as I pick at what Alison was making, making her slap my hand away
"You're worse then the kids" she says making me laugh "part of the circus? Really?" She asks, I nod
"Yeah, is that bad?" I ask making her shrug, as she goes back to cooking
"Circus people aren't meant to be that normal" she says, I sigh as I start helping her with dinner.
"Chloe is, she's funny and sweet and strong you should see her when she's practicing" I say and then blush when I realise i just spilled to my sister that I kinda like her
"What's her act?" She asks
"Trapeze" I say making her nod before it goes silent, after a while she hesitantly speaks
"Just be careful" she whispers
