***the day of the 1st show***
Chloe's POV
"Chloe!" Holly yells as I land on the net, we are practicing our group trapeze act before tonight. I just stuffed up
"Yeah I'm fine" I say rolling my eyes, she was up on the beam. Jack was up sitting on the bar as Mitch was standing on the other beam
"If you focused more on practice this wouldn't happen" she adds as she continues to scold me, mind you I'm down here on the net while she's up there.
"It was once geez, jack your hands are slippery" I say as I walk over to the latter
"Sorry" he says as I climb up the latter and onto the beam, holly likes everything perfect. Which is how it needs to be.
"Again" holly says calmly this time, jack hangs off the bar by his legs so all his weight is being held by his legs as he swings. I grab the bar and wait for him to give the signal, the signal helps us time everything right. Once I hear him yell yes, I jump off the beam. When jack and I come close I let go of the bar, and grab onto jacks hands. So jack is holding us both from falling, he swings us back before we get back to the middle, I let go of his hands grabbing onto the first bar and swinging myself over to the beam so I'm next to holly again. She nods as she grabs the bar and her and jack basically do the same thing as I just did, I look over at Mitch who's watching holly closely. Instead off holly coming back over to this beam she goes over to the one Mitch is on, jack swings himself over to the beam I'm on and stands next to me.
"You okay?" He asks as he takes a breath, I nod
"Yeah why?" I ask looking at him
"Well you fell"
"I didn't hurt myself tho" I say
"Yeah but sometimes the shock just gets to you.." he starts but I cut him off
"I'm fine, it's just holly" i mumble as I look over at holly and Mitch on the other beam "she's stressing so bad lately" I add
"Yeah I suppose" he says "I'm sorry for not getting a grip on your hands" he adds I shrug
"The nets there for a reason" I say before grabbing the bar, I jump off the beam and let myself fall onto the net before I get off of it and walk out of the tent. The food van and all the last minute touches where all getting set up, I walk over to the caravan and go to my room grabbing my phone and texting Ryan
C-still coming tonight?
I sit on my bed and wait for him to reply, his reply was quick
R-can't wait, Bella and Charlie want to leave now
I laugh, his niece and nephew sound like great kids
C- that's cute
R-cute but it's annoying all morning I've gotten uncle Ry can we go yet
C-haha they sound adorable, ry? I'm calling you that now
R- oh god alright haha shouldn't you be getting ready for tonight?
C- I'm about to kill holly, I love her but dam she's annoying today. So I'm in my room.
R- why what's she doing?
C-just on my back,I fell and she got up me, it's just annoying. I don't know what's up with her today
R-you fell?! Are you okay? No broken bones?
C-I landed on the net
R-oh right
C- haha anyway I better go, talk to you tonight ry
R- I need a nick name for you
C-no you don't, see ya
R-see ya later chickadee
I laugh at the nickname he gave me before I put my phone on charge, I walk out of the caravan and over to the food van. I walk behind it and get in it sitting down on one of the chairs as jacks mother was getting all the food ready, my mother helping her.
"Shouldn't you be getting ready for tonight?" Mrs benson says as she looks over at me, I shrug as I put my elbows on the edge and rest my head on it.
"I'm done practicing" I mumble making my mother and mrs benson laugh
"Go get your hair and makeup done, be time all that is done it will be time for people to start arriving" my mom says, I nod and get up to go to hair and makeup which is in the Back of the tent.
