Ryan's POV
"Uncle Ry likes Chloe!" Bella sings once Chloe is gone, I shake my head and sit down
"Stop saying that" I tell her making Charlie laugh
"But you do and she likes you" he tells me, I roll my eyes at my niece and nephew. I can't help but laugh tho
"Whatever, both of you okay?" I ask making sure they don't need anything
"Yup" Bella says popping the p "why is there a cadge around there?" She asks me looking at the cage in the middle of all the seats.
"So the lions don't eat you" Charlie says making Bella shift closer to me, Bella was sitting in the middle of Charlie and I.
"Uncle ry?" Bella asks
"Charlie don't tell your sister that, Bella they won't eat you" I tell her making Charlie laugh, He's a little shit sometimes. I can't say anything tho because I was like that at his age, I was a troubled child.
"You sure?" She asks making me nod
"Positive" I tell her before taking my phone out as Bella and Charlie talk, I send a text to Chloe
R- your lions don't eat people right?
I laugh to myself and press send before showing Bella
"See I just asked Chloe, she'll answer soon" I tell Bella making her nod
"Okay good" she says just as Chloe replies
C- no why?
R-Charlie told Bella they'd eat her, so she believed it
"Here see, Chloe says they don't eat people" I say making Charlie laugh as Bella takes my phone
"Yay" she says handing my phone back
C- haha okay.
I smile at her reply, I go to answer before A guy comes out from back stage with a microphone.
"Uncle Ry phone down" Bella says excitedly, I shake my head but smile and put my phone away.
"Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls. Children of all ages welcome to the hosterman circus" the guy yells as he walks into the middle of the cage, the audience clap as Bella and Charlie are on the edge of their seats. Making me smile, I'm glad they are excited.
"please turn all phones cameras off, as we don't need flashes scaring the animals. To start our show off tonight I present to you our lion tamer!" He yells as a guy comes out, dressed in black dress pants and a red sparkling vest with a black long sleeved shirt under it. The guy who opened the show left and went out back, as the lion tamer adjusted the small mic that's on his shirt
"Hello ladies and gentlemen!" He yells as he looks over at a long cage that leads to out back. "Lets bring some lions out, yeah?" He asks the audience making everyone cheer, I smile as Charlie seems to be nearly off of his seat.
The lion tamer walks over and opens the gate that leads to out back and soon three lions come out, they walk around the cage as the male roars. There are two females and one male, the male being in the middle of the two females.
The lion tamer walks so his in the middle of the cage as the lion sits in front of him, the two female sit beside the lion tamer. He smiles as he pets the female that's closest to us as the crowd claps, I lean back in my chair and watch as he gets the lions to stand up on things, walk across a plank. It was quite impressive what he could do with them, after probably ten minutes he bowed and walked back out back with the lions. Bella and Charlie clapped as they both try seeing our back but there is a curtain stopping them, soon a bunch of guys come out and quickly take the massive cage down. Carrying it all out back, it amazed me how fast they did it. Soon Chloe came out, she was still in her black t-shirt. The t-shirt every one wore that was part of the circus, she smiled over at me before looking around the crowd
"Hey guys, so how about those lions?" She asks making everyone clap, some yelling things.
"That's Chloe" Bella says to me as if I didn't notice, I smile and shake my head as I watch Chloe.
"Great! I'm glad you liked them, funny thing is I'm scared of lions and I grew up around them" she says making everyone laugh, she smiles as she looks around the audience again
"There is just something about them that scare me" she adds, I couldn't tell if she was making this up or not.
"So our next performance is our magnificent ponies" Chloe says just as a mini pony comes running out with a monkey on its back making everyone laugh and clap "meet out pony belle and our monkey dime!" Chloe yells as she makes a single and the monkey waves as the pony trots around the stage.
Chloe walks back out back as a guy came out, I recognise him as the brown haired guy I met
"Hey guys, so my name is Mitch and as you already know this is dime and belle" he says making belle stop trotting "these two are inseparable, they love each other" he adds making everyone awe, I hadn't noticed till know that while Chloe was speaking a few guys set up a few mini jumps. Mitch clicked his tongue and belle trots over and jumps over the jump with dime still on her back, everyone clapped as Mitch gave dime then belle a treat. It was pretty amazing what they could do, I honestly couldn't wait to see Chloe's act
