Ryan's POV
"You'll call right?" Alison asks as she helps me pack the car up, she's still not convinced on this idea. She's just looking out for me, she wants what is best.
"Of course, Alison I really want to see where Chloe and I can go" I tell her as I shut the car door.
"I know it's just, Ryan I haven't even met this girl. What did mum and dad say?" She asks as I lean against my car "you haven't told them?" She asks hitting my shoulder. Ow, okay. Gee.
"No, I'm going to call once I get there to tell them" I say with a shrug, I couldn't really tell my parents in person that I was following after some girl I barely know. But it felt so right, I really wanted to know Chloe. I needed to do this for me "plus I'll visit whenever I'm close by" I add making her nod as she pulls me into a tight hug. I take a deep breath as I hug my big sister back, every thing I've ever done she's helped me. This was a new adventure for me, I get to travel and get paid for it. Eventually I pull away from the hug, I shrug and smile softly
"I'm sorry for leaving you hanging on late notice" I say as I look at her, who was going to watch the kids?
"No it's okay. There is plenty of people who can watch them" she says wiping her eyes "ill miss you" she adds making me pull her into a another hug
"I'll miss you too" I say, she hugs me for a minute before she pulls away and calls Bella and Charlie to come outside. I say goodbye to them all before getting in my car, I look at my phone before wiping my eyes. God I get emotional. Chloe had texted and they are only an hour away, I text back saying I'm leaving now before I start my car.
Chloe's POV
"Come on get the tent up" mrs benson says to all of us, we all groan as we had just finished getting the animals set up.
"Can we take 5?" Jack asks as others are already getting the tent out
"Lets just get it over with" Mitch says before they both walk over to the tent
"I'm gonna go hand flyers out" I say quickly, I hate setting the tent up. It's hard. I grab the flyers and go to get in the car before my mother stops me
"Can you go to the store, we are going to need more water. More meat as well. We are running low" she says grabbing her wallet and handing it to me
"So basically just food shop?" I ask making her nod
"Make sure you get enough as we now have an extra person" she says, I smile as I look at my mother wallet in my hand
"Thanks for offering him the job mom" I whisper as I smile
"Your father did honey, I didn't even have to talk him into it" she says making me look up
"Really?"
She nods her head before giving me a hug "he's seen the way you look at him honey" she whispers in my ear before pulling away
"Bye mom" I say getting in the car, I hand out flyers before I find the grocery store here. It took me ages to find the grocery store, but soon enough I found it. I knew I'd have to get a bunch of meat to cater for everyone, the food that's in the food van we have enough of. It's just for dinners and lunches of people in the circus.
I honestly couldn't wait till Ryan got here, I was so excited to have him apart of this all. I was really excited, to have someone that didn't grow up with me around. That's really big for me and I was really excited. After food shopping I head back to the circus, I yawn as I drive. I was extremely tired so I turned the music up to wake myself up, I soon got back and the tent was set up. My mother thanks me and unloads the groceries telling me to go set up, just as I'm about to go in the tent I see Ryan's car pull up.
So Ryan's with her💖💖 I'm thinking of doing a sequel to old secrets who would want that? I won't start it till all the chapters on this book are published
