When I woke up this morning, I found Loki scribbling down things in the journal I gave him yesterday. I smiled softly at how concentrated he was. The book was resting partly against his knees and partly against his baby bump. I never wanted the moment to end, he looked so peaceful.

"Morning beautiful." I yawned out, pulling the blanket closer to me. Loki looked to me, closing the journal slightly as he smiled. I draped an arm around his middle. He chuckled.

"I'm sorry, did I wake you?" He asked. I shook my head, smirking. I sat up and surprised kissed him. Loki managed to set the book on the nightstand before draping an arm around my neck. I smirked as I kissed him again, almost biting his lip. Loki smirked, kissing me back. We pulled away, my forehead resting against his, my gaze focused on the bump.

"Mine." I stated. Loki chuckled. My hands cupped his stomach. "I created these two beings." Loki raised an eyebrow.

"I believe I was present there, too." Loki stated before leaning closer to my ear. "And I helped." I rolled my eyes. "And once that part's done and over with, there's not much else you participate in." I frowned.

"Really?" Loki nodded. I leaned back on my elbows. "Huh." Loki furrowed his brow.

"Anthony, how much do you know about childbearing?" I nodded slightly.

"Obviously not as much as I thought." Loki looked confused for a minute before shaking his head. "Yeah, it's not worth questioning." He nodded, laying his head on my chest. I ran my fingers through his hair. "What were you writing?" Loki shook his head.

"Nothing you have to worry about." I nodded in acknowledgment. "So. Bucky and Steve?" I heard the smirk in his voice.

"You're gonna love that apple pie." I told him. Steve made it one year around thanksgiving, it was to die for. "But, I didn't think Bucky had that in him." Loki looked up, his chin on my chest. "Before the explosion, Bucky asked me how to ask out Steve. This is several steps ahead of that." Loki hummed in thought. I twirled a strand of his hair around my finger. "You know, I've been thinking a lot about retiring. Especially when we found out about the twins." Loki looked at me through his long lashes.

"Anthony-" He started. I placed a finger against his lips to cut him off.

"No, Loki, I mean it." I cupped his cheek. "I can't be risking my life day in and day out. If I get hurt-" I shook my head, cutting myself off. "I hated my father for never being there. I don't want to put my kids through the same thing." Loki kissed me softly. "You hungry?" I asked, changing the subject before Loki could argue.

He rolled his eyes. "Anthony, darling, do you really have to ask that? I'm eating for three, of course I'm hungry." I chuckled and started to get out of bed. Loki started to follow before I stopped him.

"Don't." I scolded. He raised an eyebrow.

"Does this mean breakfast in bed?" He asked hopefully. I smiled and nodded. Loki sat back down and smiled. "Have I ever told you how much I love you?" I laughed.

"The fact that you are willing to carry my children says it all." With that, I walked out of our room and into the kitchen where Steve and Natasha were conversing.

"You're up early." Natasha pointed out. Steve turned to see who she was talking to. I waved and shrugged, checking the clock. It read 8. "Went to bed at a reasonable time I guess."

"Is Loki up?" Steve questioned. I smirked.

"Oh yeah."

"I swear to god, Stark, if you two had morning sex." Natasha complained. I rolled my eyes.

"And if we did?" I asked her. "He's already in the family way." Natasha rolled her eyes. "We didn't have sex. I just said I would bring him breakfast in bed. It's the least I can do."

"Well aren't you a caring husband." She remarked, sitting back and crossing her arms. I shook my head at her.

"Oh, shut up." I told her as I started making homemade waffles. They seem to be Loki's favorite. "So Steve, when's the wedding?" I inquired.

"Tony, we got engaged yesterday." Steve started. I shot him a look.

"I'm kidding, Capsicle." I told him. He rolled his eyes.

"Whatever." He mumbled.

When the waffles were done, I sprinkled powder sugar on them and decorated them with strawberries and blueberries. Then I started frying up some bacon. As that was cooking, I grabbed a cup from the cabinet only to pause a second later.

"Orange or apple?" I asked.

Natasha pursed her lips. "What do you mean?" She asked. I sighed.

"Orange or apple juice?" I explained. She shrugged. "J, can you ask him for me?"

"Right on it sir." JARVIS responded almost instantly. We waited a bit for an answer. "Mr. Stark said he wanted apple." I nodded.

"Thank you JARVIS. Don't know what I would do without you."

"You would probably be dead by now. No offense, sir." He remarked. I nodded in agreement.

"None taken. You're probably right anyway." I told him.

"Probably?" Natasha and Steve questioned. I shot them both a look.

"Alright, alright. I would be dead by now." I stated. By now, Loki's breakfast was ready and I was looking for a tray to carry it up. "Ah, there it is." I mumbled. I put his breakfast on the tray and walked it up to him.

"Took you long enough." Loki joked as I handed him the tray. "What were you doing?"

"Talking to Steve and Natasha." I replied as I crawled back into bed. He started cutting the waffles into pieces. I smiled softly.

"Ah." He took a bite and sighed. "Anthony, these are amazing." He complimented. I kissed his cheek.

"I know." I remarked. "That's why I made them." He smiled softly. I stroked his cheek. "What do you wanna do today?" Loki hummed.

"Can we stay in bed all day and do nothing?" He asked. "I just want to spend a day together. You, me-" He grabbed my hand and placed it on his stomach. "And the twins. Nothing to worry about other than what to watch next." I smiled.

"I'm not guaranteeing anything, but we can try."
