Joven had invited the Smosh Games crew over for a movie night, hoping they could all come.

Unfortunately, only a few could come. Boze and Flitz had plans. Lasercorn was on a weekend trip with his wife and his son. Only Sohinki, Wes, and Mari could come.

It wouldn't be too bad. Few people meant less food to get, which meant less money spent.

Joven ordered a pizza and set out some popcorn and drinks. All he had to do now was wait for all of his friends to arrive. He stole a handful of popcorn from the big bowl he's set out and ate it.

He slumped back on a beanbag chair, looking at a picture of a puppy that Wes had texted him. He knew that'd be the first thing Wes would mention when he arrived, so he peeked at the picture again.

It was a cute little chihuahua puppy, and it oddly reminded him of Sohinki. He didn't think much of that part, but he wondered why it made him think of Sohinki. 'Wes might know' he thought, before he heard a knock at the door. He had a peephole on it, so he looked through it. It was Wes, who had a whole box of cookies in his hand. It was safe to assume that Wes had brought that box for himself only. It'd been a common practice he'd taken up, after the cookie incident.

The cookie incident was what they called the time Wes hid all the cookies at an office party and ate the horde he collected alone. They'd still tease him about it, so he just brought his own box of cookies to any event.

Joven opened the door, and Wes came in, his hair in a man-bun, for some odd reason.

"What's with the hair, dude?" Joven asked.

"How else am I supposed to speed-eat my cookies?" Wes asked, with a hint of Elmo laugh. "Also, Noah recommended that I try the style out."

"Is it safe to presume all of those cookies are yours?" Joven asks.

Wes nods. "As always! I may be willing to give everyone who comes one, if I'm feeling generous."

Joven chuckled. "Well, why don't you head over to the couch?"

Wes nodded, putting his box of cookies under his arm and walking towards the couch, which was in the same room as the TV. Mari showed up next, and sat on a beanbag after snagging a Mountain Dew that she could drink, from the stuff Joven set out.

The last to show was Sohinki. His hair was all messy, and he seemed worn out.

"What happened to you?" Joven asked.

"I was coming in when there was a huge gust of wind." Sohinki explained tiredly. "A piece of paper I needed for work was in my car, and it blew out. I had to go chase after it, and it wore me out."

"Well, come on in then!" Joven exclaimed.

Sohinki trudged in tiredly.

"What, do you need me to carry you?" Joven asked as he shut the door.

"I don't think you could even pick me up." Sohinki said, crossing his arms.

"You wanna bet?" Joven asks.

"You're on, man!" Sohinki exclaims, even in his tired state.

"What's our wager?" Joven asks.

"The usual five bucks?" Sohinki suggests. "And we work our something better later?"

Joven nods in agreement.

"Hey Wes! Mari!" Sohinki calls out.

"We've got a bet, and we need witnesses here." Joven explains.

"Please don't tell me this is about knife throwing." Mari mutters.

"Knife throwing?" Wes catches.

"Nope, I just don't think Joven could pick me up." Sohinki announced.

"But dude, I d-" Mari starts, before being cut off by Sohinki coughing.

A very fake cough, to be exact. He shot her a look. She responded with an understanding one. She winked, and pulled out her phone.

"What was that about?" Wes whispers to Mari.

"You'll see." She whispers back, before returning her attention to Sohinki and Joven.

"Are you guys ready?" Mari asked.

Joven nods, and so does Sohinki.

"Wes, can you hold the money for the bet?" Sohinki asks.

Wes nods, and the two each hand him a 5 dollar bill.

Mari starts the video on her camera app on her phone, and counts down.

"3!" Mari and Wes yell.

Joven gets into position.

"2!" The duo yell again.

Sohinki smirks at the camera.

"1!" They finally exclaim.

Joven scoops Sohinki up, in bridal style.

"I knew you could pick me up." Sohinki says with a smirk.

"I knew it too, dude." Joven responds. "I knew what your end goal was."

"You still went through with it." Sohinki points out.

"Well, don't you know why?" Joven asks, readjusting his hold on Sohinki.

"Wes, put the money on the counter and come with me." Mari says, grabbing the large man by the wrist and pulling him out of the room.

Wes is dragged all the way to the room they were in before. "What was the for?"

"You'll find out when you're older." Mari says chuckling.

"You're only like four years older than me!" Wes exclaims.

Meanwhile, in the other room, Joven was still hold Sohinki.

"So, I'm guessing by pick-up, you also meant a date?" Joven asks.

"You betcha." Sohinki states.

Joven sets Sohinki down, as his arms had gotten tired.

"You know, you could've approached this better." Joven remarks.

"Would you still have agreed?" Sohinki asked.

Joven pulled Sohinki in for a brief kiss. "Does that answer your question?"

Sohinki nods. "Let's get headed back. I need some Diet Coke."

Joven nods, and intertwines his hand with Sohinki's.

They walk off together, ready to watch the movie.
