Smosh One Shots

Courtony: Washington D.C.

All of Smosh was in Washington D.C. for a project with YouTube. They weren't exactly sure what, but they weren't going to complain about a free trip, which it was.

Everyone had gone to the Museum of Natural History. Well, everyone except for Courtney and Anthony. They had stayed back since they both had to do some actual work. They'd hoped they would have time after they finished. Luckily, they were in D.C. for the whole week, so there wasn't too big of a rush.

Courtney had just finished up her work, so she slumped back in her chair. She was sharing a hotel room with Olivia, Mari, and Boze. She quickly put her laptop, which she'd been working on, away, and headed to the little store in the lobby to get a snack.

Little did she know that Anthony was thinking the same thing.

Anthony had been working on some things for the Smosh website, and was so hard at work that he didn't even realize that the others had left. Well, he did, but he wasn't paying too close attention to them. Once he finished, about 5 minutes before a Courtney, he'd headed to the lobby.

Courtney pressed the button on the elevator and headed downstairs. She pressed the button that was labelled 'Ground Floor', which meant the lobby.

The elevator dinged as it came to a halt. Courtney stepped out, and headed to the little store.

Just in time to bump into Anthony.

"Oof!" Courtney exclaimed as she collided with him.

She looked to see who she'd bumped into, and saw Anthony, dazed as well.

"Sorry!" They both said at the same time, then both started laughing at the fact that they did.

A hotel worker shot them a dirty look, so they quieted down.

"Hey, since everyone's out doing stuff, do you wanna come and explore D.C. with me?" Anthony suggests.

"Sounds awesome!" Courtney exclaims, grinning. "Lemme just get me snack first."

Anthony waited outside in the lobby while Courtney ran in and got a bag of pretzel chips and a Fiji water. She paid and hurried out.

"Ready to go?" Anthony asked.

Courtney nodded. Luckily, she had her purse already, so she was ready.

They walked out.

"Where to first?" Courtney asked.

"How about the National Mall?" Anthony suggested.

"Sounds awesome." Courtney admitted.

They started to walk to the National Mall, which was not too far away from their hotel.

They took some pictures at the Washington Monument, planning to put them on Instagram later in the day.

They walked around to all the monuments, but ultimately ended up at the Air and Space Museum.

"This place is awesome!" Courtney exclaimed.

"Courtney, we aren't even inside yet." Anthony pointed out.

"So?" Courtney retorted.

The two chuckled and headed in. They went through bag check and started to walk around.

They went to get food first, of course. They ate quickly, hoping to get to look around at all of the cool stuff quicker. Well, at least Courtney did.

Once they finished with their food, they went to a section with a bunch of space stuff. After that, to another section with really cool planes. It was a lot of fun for the both of them, and they did all sorts of cool stuff. But, inevitably, they ended out in the large expanse of land that went from the Capitol building to the Washington Monument. They got sodas from a vendor, and sat on the grass, talking about clouds and what they looked like. At one point, their hands touched as they went to point out the same cloud, and both of them blushed. Being embarrassed at the fact they practically did a backwards high five was one reason, but it was also from the fact that they both secretly liked each other.

"Sorry!" They both exclaimed at the same time, before erupting into laughter.

"What is that, the second time we've done that today?" Anthony mentions.

"At least!" Courtney responds, both of them still laughing.

They watched the clouds for a bit longer before Anthony stood up. He brushes off his pants, which had been coated in dirt from sitting on the grass. He extended his hand to Courtney to help her up.

"You up for just going back to the hotel?" Anthony asked.

"Yeah, I am pretty worn out." Courtney notes.

Courtney accepted his chivalry, and they didn't let go off each other's hand until they got back.
