Done Waiting: Auston Matthews Sequel

SURPRISES.

||IVY||

    SURPRISES are always fun, but this one in particular isn't that fun. Right when Auston and I got too our floor, which was on a different floor from the rest of the team, we unlocked the door and find a regular hotel room, but with the surprise of one bed.

"This is the surprise, a single bedroom with one bed. What were they trying to achieve?" I ask Auston as I jump onto the right side of the bed.

"I can't believe those fuckers." Auston says and I shake my head.

"I'm facetiming them." I say as I lay down on my stomach and pull out my phone. After three rings, Mitch finally picked up the facetime.

"So, Mrs. and Mr. Matthews, how is your room?" Mitch asks me smirking.

"Fuck off Marner." I tell him and I hear multiple laughs.

"Who are you with?" Auston asks as he jumps on the bed beside me.

"oh you know only a few like Willy, Kadri, JVR, Mo, Connor and Marty." Mitch says normally.

"In who's room?" I ask him.

"No, we're in the lobby waiting for our keys." He tells us as Willy comes out of no where and sits on Mitch's lap.

"Hey guys, how are you doing?" William asks us smiling.

"I hate you so much Willy." Auston says shaking his head.

"You'll thank us later." Willy says winking.

"Hey, we gotta go! See you guys tomorrow!" Mitch tells us as he then hangs up and I shut off my phone.

"So what now?" I ask Auston as I lay my head onto a pillow and face Auston.

"Movie?" Auston asks me and I nod my head yes.

"Okay, let me get ready for bed first." I say as I then get up from bed and pick our a pair of Nike shorts and and a maroon Nike hoodie along with my makeup bag.

    I quickly change and remove my makeup and brush my teeth. Once I was done that, I then put my hair up in a bun and walk out of the washroom turning off the lights behind me.

"Ready?" Auston asks as he climbs into bed with his laptop in his hands.

"Yup!" I say as I jump into bed and snuggle into the blankets.

"What do you wanna watch?" Auston asks as we look through the movies.

"Let's watch why him." I tell him and he nods his head sure and clicks the movie.

    Auston then puts his arm around my shoulder and I get up closer to Auston and he places his laptop on part of his thigh and mine.

||3RD PERSON||

    As the movie went on the more closer the two friends got. Ivy ended up placing her head on Auston's chest and Auston placed his head on top on Ivy's.

     At one point in the movie Ivy and Auston bursted out into laughter from one scene. Once the laughter died down Ivy's attention was then back on the movie but Auston's attention was somewhere more interesting.

     Auston watches his once girl of his dreams watch a movie with a smile on his face. He smiles because it's just like old times, they would always just end up cuddling at night watching something on the T.V. It was either something from sportsnet, to something on Netflix. 

     Ivy senses Auston's gaze on the back of her head, so she then turns around to face him and he quickly brings his attention back to the movie.

"What were you looking at?" She asks him smirking and he shakes his head.

"Nothing." Auston says smiling down at her.

"Seriously, what are you thinking?" Ivy asks him.

"I'm thinking that this is just like old times." Auston says and Ivy's heart rate starts to pick up.

"How?" She asks him smiling.

"Us cuddling in bed while watching some sort of show." Auston says as his and Ivy's mind start to fill with old memories.

"Yeah, it really is." Ivy says staring at him.

"But we're only missing the snacks." Auston says making them both laugh. When ever they would have a movie night, it would always be like a cheat day from their diets. There would be loads of junk food. Ivy then got an idea that might ruin every relationship she has created, or make things better. 

"We're also missing one more thing." Ivy says keeping Austons gaze and comes closer to his face.

"And what is that?" Auston asks leaning closer also.

"This." Ivy says as she places her lips onto Austons.

    Ivy and Auston then pull away for a short moment to catch their breath.

"I missed that." Ivy says.

"Same here." Auston says smirking as he then leans in again and the their lips collide once more.

    Auston then shuts his laptop and places it on the floor. Auston then gets on top of Ivy without pulling away from each other's lips. Ivy then places her arms around Auston's neck and his hands stay on her hips.

    The two ended up having a very eventful day full of surprises. A surprise breakup, a surprise truth, a surprise plan and definitely a surprise ending to the night.
