Done Waiting: Auston Matthews Sequel

"MATTHEWS! Wake up we're late!!" I yell as I jump up from the bed. Turns out, the small nap Auston made us take, lasted until the morning, leaving us both unpacked and only 30 minutes to pack, get ready, and head to the airport.

"Oh shit!" Auston says jumping up from the bed like me and we start to pack our bags not caring if we fold our clothes.

"Can you give me my tooth brush?" Auston asks me as I brush my teeth. I then grab his toothbrush and other things i know he's going to need and I throw them his way and he catches them.

Once I was done with my teeth, I quickly put my hair in a but, grab my make up bag and toss it into my suitcase. Once Auston and I were done, we only had 15 minutes to get to the airport, but thankfully we live very close to the airport.

"Let's go let's go!" I say as Auston and I race to our Uber and make our way to the airport.

||ON THE PLANE||

"You're so lucky we made it on time, if we didn't I would have killed you." I tell Auston as we get comfy in our seats.

"Why would you have killed me?" He asks me and i start to really question him.

"Why? Because you made us take that nap!" I whisper yell at him.

"Well it's not my fault you decided to sleep for that long!" Auston starts and I roll my eyes at him.

"Whatever, don't talk to me the rest of this flight." I say as I put my earbuds into my ears and I start to listen to music and face the window.

||IN SCOTTSDALE||

The whole plane ride was spent ignoring Auston and him doing the same to me. Once we landed I was off the plane faster than Auston and I quickly went through security checks and I grabbed my suitcase right after.

"Ivy Wait up!" Auston says from behind me but I just keep walking.

"hey, hey, hey." Austons says as he catches up with me, grabs my wrist and turns me to face him. I then roll my eyes and I look up at him.

"I'm sorry okay, this is my bad and I don't know what I was trying to say back there, but I'm sorry." Auston tells me and I sigh and nod my head.

"Okay." I say nodding my head up and down and I slightly smile at him. I then go on my toes and give Auston a soft kiss.

"Love you." He tells me once we pull away.

"Love you too." I say as I hug his waist and he pulls me in tight.

"Awe, look how cute you guys are!" Someone says from behind me. 

"Hey mom." Auston says as he pulls away and gives her a quick hug.

"Hi Aus, and you must be Ivy, it's so nice to finally meet you! I'm Ema Matthews, but you can call me Em!" She tells me as she pulls me into a hug and I hug her back.

"It's to meet you too Em!" I tell her once we pull away.

"Now come on guys, everyone is waiting at the house!" Em says as Auston and I follow her to her car, and make our way to their house.

||AT THE HOUSE||

"We're home!" Em says as we walk into Auston's home. I then hear foot steps from upstairs make their way down to the living room where the three of us are.

Auston then goes to greet this dad, Brian, and his sisters Alex and Breyana with a hug. He then steps back and introduces me.

"Guy's, this is my girlfriend Ivy that I have already told you about!" Auston says as I smile at them and I get hugs from each of them.

"How about you guy's settle in upstairs in Auston's old room as we get dinner finished!" Em says as Auston and I nod our heads and make our way upstairs to settle in.

"I love your family already." I tell Auston as I unpack my clothes.

"I can tell they love you too babe." Auston tells me as he wraps his arms around my waist and leans his head on my shoulder.

"Are you sure?" I ask him and I turn around to face him.

"Positive." He tells me as he leaves a passionate kiss on my lips.

"Okay, we better head down there soon to eat." I tell him as he sighs and nods his head and I drag him downstairs.

"Here, let me help!" I say as I grab a few plates to set the table.

"Oh no, you don't need too, Alex or Breyana could help me." Ema tells me.

"No No, it's fine, you're letting me stay under your roof, the best I can do is help around!' I tell her as she nods her head okay and I start to set the table.

||AFTER DINNER||

Dinner was very fun, Ema ended up making Auston's favourite Chicken Tortilla Soup for dinner and it was bomb. There was many conversatiosn going on, like About Austona and I, Brian and I talked about hockey, Ema and I talked about this recipe so I could make it for Auston, and Alex and Breyana and I made plans to go shopping tomorrow.

At the moment, Auston and I are getting ready for bed after a movie once we finished dinner.

"I think my family love you more then they love me." Auston tells me making me laugh. I then spit out the toothpaste from my mouth and rise.

"you're funny! You're their child, of course they love you more." I tell him as I slip into bed.

"Yes, but they love you sooooooo much." Auston says as he turns off the light and gets in beside me.

"Well that's good then." I tell him as I cuddle into his side.

"Yes, yes it is." Auston says as he places a kiss on my forehead and wraps his arm around me.

"Night." I say.

"Night."
