TALKS with our friend group are always fun and relaxing. But when there's a broken couple and a new couples, it's bound to be a bit awkward. Tonight we have a gala type of event with the team for charity. The whole team will be having dinner together, which means i need to get Steph out of my guest bedroom., back to her house and changed ready for tonight.
"Don't leave." Auston says as I try and get up from the bed but failing with him pulling me back down.
"I kinda have to, I need to help out with Steph." I tell him as he places kissed on my shoulder and up to my neck and jaw line.
"Pleaseeeee." He says.
"I would if I could, but right now I gotta help Steph." I tell him as he groans and lets me go.
"I'll see you later." I say as I give him a quick kiss and then get ready for a day out.

Once I was ready I then leave the room and go to the kitchen and call Mitch.
"Hell-" Before Mitch could finish, i cut him off.
"You're a motherfucker you know that right?" I tell him and I can hear him groan.
"I know okay, I messed up!" Mitch says and I can her in his voice that he's been crying and I sigh at him.
"That was the most pointless fight i have ever heard about." I say as I shake my head.
"But it wasn't my fault that my ex found my new number!" Mitch says and i roll my eyes.
"I know, but you should know how to deal with the situation." I tell him.
"I know. Is Steph coming tonight?" He asks me.
"I think so, I'll try my best to get her to come." i tell him and he clears his throat.
"Alright, i'll see you later." he tells me and I nod my head yes.
"Okay, see you later." I tell him hanging up and I then walk over to the guest bedroom to find Steph sound asleep.
"Hey, wake up." I tell her as he opens up her bloodshot eyes and rubs them sitting up.
"Morning." He tells me.
"Morning. Come on, get ready we're going to get some breakfast and then having a girls day and buy you a new dress for the gala tonight." I tell her and she shakes her head no.
"I'm not going to the gala." She tells me and I roll my eyes.
"No, you're going."i tell her and she nods her head.
"Fine." She says knowing she's not going to win this fight.
"Alright, get ready and let's head out." I tell her leaving the room for her to get ready.
||AFTER EATING||
After having a nice breakfast with Steph, I let her rant to me for a bit as we drove to the mall.
||AFTER SHOPPING||
Auston ended up going over to Mitch's house along with Willy and Marty.
"Okay, we got the house to ourselves to get ready." I tell steph as he nods her head and heads to the master bathroom and I grab all my make up.
After a good hour at getting ready, we were both finally done out hair and makeup and are now slipping on our dresses.

"You look hot." Steph tells me as I slip on my white lase up heels.
"Look at you!" I tell her and she smiles.
"Okay, now all you're missing is this." I tell her as I pull out her engagement ring she left at her place.
"Who got this?" She asks me.
"I told Auston to go steal it back and bring it over here." I told her shrugging and she smiles at me and puts the ring on.
"Alright, the boys are on their way." I tell her after I got a text from Auston.
After a few minutes, Auston and Mitch's cars pull up to the drive way and I grab my clutch and Steph and I walk out the house and into our respected cars.
"Damn." Auston says as I walk into the car.
"Hello to you to." I tell him smirking and I look through the rearview mirror and see that Steph and Mitch are already kissing.
"Okay and that's slightly cute slightly nasty." I say to Auston and he agrees.
"Yup, alright, let's go." He tells me as we drive off to the arena.
||AT THE ACC||
The arena as decorated just for the gala with the lights dim and blue everywhere. Once we were addressed by the announcer we walked out onto the stage and then took a seat at our tables.
Once Auston and I got to our table, we found Williy and his new girlfriend Emory.
"Oh my God! Hi, I'm Ivy! You must be Emory!" I say to her as I take a seat across from her and shake her hand.
"Yeah I know who you are, it's nice to meet you!" She tells me smiling. Steph and Mitch then join our table along with Marty and Syd.
The night ended up being very fun and everyone had a great time. No one fought, everyone ate and laughed and nothing was awkward at all.
