My Parents Double Life.

Chapter 16

I move around in my bed and start drifting my eyes open slowly. My vision is still blurry but I can just see the outline of the time on my clock. It's 9:24. I guess there's no training today. I pull myself from under the sheets. I can see my parents are still sleeping.

I walk into the kitchen and open the fridge. The fridge is pretty much fully stocked. I take out 6 eggs, butter, cheese, ham and tomato. I grab a small knife and start chopping up the tomato and ham. I get a bowl and a frypan from a cupboard. I combine the two eggs with the other ingredients in the bowl and give it a quick stir and pour it in the frypan.

I have cooked the first and second omelette and the third one is almost cooked. I grab the toaster out and get some muffins from the fridge and quickly place them in the toaster to cook. I bring three plates out and place each omelette on it. POP!! The muffins pop into the air. I spread some butter onto them and place it onto the plates. I squeeze some HP sauce onto the omelettes and then place the plates on the table.

My parents walk out rubbing the eyes when they see the table.

"Breakfast is served." I say directing them to the table of food.

"You didn't I have to do that sweetie." Dad states as he sits in his chair and grabs his knife and fork.

We all sit down and start eating breakfast. I quickly gobble mine up. I place my plate in the dishwasher along with the other bowl I made the omelettes in.

I walk into the bathroom to brush my teeth and wash my face. Once I finish that I walk into the spare room to get changed. I put on a pair of pinks shorts with a white singlet top. I put my hair in a high ponytail and put on a silver necklace.

I walk out into the room and see my parents standing in the kitchen with a grin on their face. I look at them confused than start grinning myself.

"What's so funny?"

"We were just wondering seeing as we have finished your room, if you wanted to see it? Because we are more than happy to wait until tomorrow if you want." Mum asks

A huge smile creeps across my face. I nod energetically.

"Ok give us five more minutes than you will see it, wait in the lounge room until we are ready."

I skip to the lounge and start waiting. It feels like ages I have been waiting to see it. I can't wait to see what the finish product looks like.

"Ok we're ready." My dad says walking into the lounge room. He wraps a bandana around my eyes and walks me to my room.

"Ok, you can take the bandana off now."

I rip the bandana off my eyes and I see the most perfect from ever. It's everything I pictured and wanted.

"It's wonderful." I gasp

I walk around looking at everything. It's so perfect.

I turn around and give my parents a big bear hug and thank them again.

I run and jump onto my bed.

I quickly hop off it realising I still have to move my things from the spare room into my room. I quickly run to the spare room and take as many things my arms can hold to my room. My parents start helping me. I place everything where I want it.

As I'm organising everything I remember I need to get the mar key off Kayden for the party tomorrow.

"Can I ring Kayden to see if it's ok to get the mar key today?" I ask my dad.

"That's fine." He groans lifting a heavy box of clothes.

I grab the home phone from the kitchen and dial his number. It takes a while to get through but finally he answers the phone.

“Hello?”

"Hey it's me."

"Oh, hey. How are you?"

"I'm good, I was just wondering if we could pick up the mar key today?"

"Sure that's fine; I already have out of the garage."

"Sweet, we will come by later today to pick it up."

"Ok see you then"

I hang up and walk back into my room.

"Kayden says we can pick it up today."

"Ok we will go when we finish this." He replies

I put all my clothes away in my wardrobe.

About half an hour later we are finish. I look at my room and have to keep blinking to make sure it's real. I go hop into the car along with my dad and I direct him to tell him where Kayden lives. 5 minutes later we arrive. Kayden is at the front washing his parent's car.

"Hey, thanks for letting us use your mar key."

"Its fine, it's not like where using it." Kayden says whipping his hands.

Dad and I follow Kayden to his backyard where we all lift the mar key and place it in the trailer we attached before we left.

Dad and I thank Kayden again than hop back in the car to drive home. We put the mar key in the backyard.

For the rest of the day I mostly stayed in my room and organised last minute things for the party.

I'm starting to get really excited for it. I want tomorrow to come quicker.
