*Fred's POV*

I was sitting in the library, looking through books like I had been doing for the pass few weeks, but I was still stuck. There was no book in the library that mentioned the Daxton family, or at lest the normal part didn't, I hadn't tried the restricted section, but it seemed as if that would be my next move.

"I heard crying the other night, coming from her dormitory."

"Brilliant! It's only a matter of time before she breaks."

"I can't believe he doesn't know!"

I paused in my search to listen to this conversation, it sounded like Kristen and one of her sidekicks, I glanced around the shelving and saw all five girls who'd been torturing Riley sitting at a nearby table. I grinned, I could jinx their quills while I'm here.

Brilliant

"Do you remember if they said her real name during the sorting?"

"Not really."

"It's only a matter of time before people figure who she actually is, it's surprising really. Did you see the prophet recently? her father was all over one of the pages." There was a small laugh before I heard the chairs move. "I don't think she can take much more abuse, she's bound to crack."

"To think that he actually fancies her....probably has him under some form of love potion."

The girls began cackling, I pulled out my wand and muttered a silencing jinx which would stop them from talking about Riley at all. That would have to suffice for the moment, there was still something else that needed to be done before I could call my revenge complete, I just had to wait until the ball.

I looked in the mirror as I turned from side to side checking out the new dress robes George and I received from mum and dad, I smiled and turned to my twin who nodded approvingly before we left the room. Where we were going to meet Riley and Angelina in front of the Great Hall.

We stood in front of the hall as people with their dates walked into the beautifully decorated hall, when Angelina came into view George went up the stairs to her, I was about to start walking towards them when I was surrounded by five girls—the same five who have been bullying Riley. Each girl had the identical shoulder length hair and wore a different shade of green strapless gown, the tallest one smirked at me.

"Listen ladies, I appreciate your....interest in me, but I'm not interested in any of you. Not even a little."

They all frowned slightly, the shortest I believed to be Claire narrowed her eyes. I watched in amusement as she tried to speak but nothing came out and her lips were instantly sealed.

"Looks like something got your tongue," I whispered before walking off.

"You'll regret this!" The tallest of the group shouted after me. I turned around and saw the furious looks, I walked back to them.

"No, you'll regret what you've done. You think you can waltz around messing with my girl, telling her to leave me or else you'll reveal her biggest secret. She told me all about it, there's nothing you have on her, nothing, so give up. Do I make myself clear?"

Kristen looked speechless but she nodded once, the others glared, I knew this wasn't the end. Not by a long shot. I walked off, heading towards George and Angelina when I saw a dazzling sight at the top of the steps. I paused as I watched Riley descending the stairs in a beautiful purple dress that clung to her waist and flowed out just passed her hips--she was so immensely gorgeous. Her hair was pinned and curled to one side of her face, revealing long purple stars hanging from her ears, I walked up to meet her. Riley's eyes sparkled excitedly as I noticed the light pink of her lips, I kissed her cheek before I led her to where George stood.
