*Oliver's POV*

I wasn't looking forward to my detentions, I had the first one tonight and without Natalie it would be even more boring than they generally were when she was actually present. I packed my bag before walking down the steps to the common room and heading towards my lonely detention with McGonagall. The room was empty aside from one other person when I entered, he looked up and I recognized him as one of the guys a year above me in Gryffindor.

"Looks like I'm not going to alone tonight," he shot me a smile before leaning back into his seat. "The name is Aidan."

"Oliver," I smiled before taking a seat in the same row as him.

"Nice to meet you, Oliver. I think this is the first time I've heard you talk to someone who wasn't your sister," he snorted slightly.

I felt my face heat up but I shrugged, "I always hear the guys talking and I realize I have barely anything in common with them so...it's hard to talk to them."

"Know anything about quidditch?"

"Tons."

"Brilliant! You'll see that we'll be friends fast in no time," Aidan stated with a grin as he sat up in his seat. He had sand colored hair that was messily styled and spiked in a few spots. "Besides, this detention will go longer if we're both quiet."

I nodded just as McGonagall appeared, and stood before her desk at the front of the room. "Now I hope you do not make this a regular thing, Mr. Weasley. As you can see through that window, you'll be able to catch glimpses of the game, you are to remain here cleaning this room until I state it is time to leave."

Aidan shot me a look before we were set to work and McGonagall was gone, "so you and your sister set off that hair dying prank?"

"My sister wasn't involved, it was all me," I snorted.

"That was a brilliant idea."

I grinned and turned back to cleaning one of the desks while Aidan rattled off a list of questions.

We were cleaning the room for four hours before McGonagall appeared and let us leave just in time for dinner. I found Nellie and Samantha waving but Aidan pulled me to his side which made the girls give us weird looks.

"Oliver, these are the guys." Aidan introduced me to three guys: Jackson, Hunter, and Patrick. They gave me a warm smile as I sat across from them.

"Nice to meet you," Hunter nodded as he pushed his glasses up the bridge of his nose.

"You're a Weasley right?" Jackson asked curiously as he pushed a hand through his dark brown hair.

"Yeah, my father and uncle are the owners of Wizard Wheezes," I stuttered. This was the reason I rarely left Nellie's side, she could handle talking about our shop, I couldn't—I got flustered easily.

"So how do you like Hogwarts?" Patrick asked, his almond colored hair stuck up in places as he tucked into some mashed potatoes.

"I love it," I grinned.

The boys exchanged a look before smirking, "there's much more than you know. We'll show you around the school."

"I know about every secret passage possible," I shrugged.

"Have you ever heard of the room of requirement?" Hunter asked excitedly.

I shook my head slightly and the boys chuckled, "tonight after curfew we'll show you one of the wonders of that room. Trust us, it's worth it," Jackson smiled.

I glanced at Aidan who was thoughtfully tucking into his food with a small smile on his face, I had a bad feeling in my stomach.

"Don't worry, we'll make sure you don't get caught," Aidan whispered in a low tone, "bring your sister if you'd like."
