I'm Her Mate

Chapter One - Under the Moonlight

Autumn

I scream at mom for firing a tranquilizer at the poor wolf.

"Shut up Young Lady ", mom hissed.

"So what is it, Miss Jontson? " a man with his jeans asked.

"A rogue. But perhaps you know this one. He smell like your son", mom stated.

My eyes widened when I stare at the wolf. It changes from wolf into man and the moonlight helps me to see the silhouette of his skin.

It makes me crave to touch him, so I did. I touch his soft lips.

Mate.

Something back in my mind shove the last word he says. What does that mean anyway? The man in jeans eyes widened and embrace the guy who called me mate a while ago.

"My long lost son!"

"Let's go, young lady", mom said.

A part of me don't want to leave the man who called me mate a minute ago but mom and I needed to leave as soon as we can. The western moon pack members will not be happy to see mom nearby.

"Will he is gonna be okay with him"

Mom nod saying that he's gonna be alright. I sigh.

I look in the sky full of beautiful stars and moon looked so bright and as if it was smiling at me.

Mom with her raven black hair looked so alluring even though she had  that cold blue eyes.

Those eyes full of suffering for the past 17 years of her life.

Mom never hide to me her life story before I've been born in this world.

As the story goes Mom is just an ordinary housewife at the age of sixteen and dad was a hunter of supernatural beings that brought noise in the world of human.

Everything was peaceful then but some alliance from vampire and rogues (a werewolf who doesn't belong in any pack) arose. Leaving my dad totally lifeless.

That time mom is about to deliver me in this world and with the pain of losing her husband make mom lose her hopes. She almost lost all her blood in giving birth on me and bring death to her. But the Vampire King who came across get pity on her and turned her into one.

Since that day mom changed. Though she is great mother I know that inside of her, she still misses dad so much.

"Mom, wait for me!"

Surely everyone who saw mom and me thinks that we are twin. We had the same face but not the shade of eyes and hair, I had a blonde hair and dark shades of green eyes while  mom has raven and blue eyes.

I am now 17 years old and in fact, a wizard.

Mom doesn't know about who I am. Just one day  I found out everything in my room is moving as what I want.

It just that dad was not telling mom the whole truth. Aside from being a hunter, dad was also a wizard. And being his daughter I inherit his ability but having mom's blood in my system makes an invisible cloak over my power and make everyone thinks that I am just an ordinary human.

"Autumn", mom called.

"Yes mom",

"Remember that if we are in a public just call me by my name, okay?"

"Okay Cielo "

And starting tomorrow mom and I will live for another new life. With western moon pack as our allies I guess we have a peace for once. Though not really if your mother is one hell huntress of freaking bad creatures.

Does the moonlight shine on Paris
After the sun goes down
If the London bridge is fallen
Will anybody hear a sound

I open my eyes as the music hit my ears. I observe the whole room though it smell manly.

Last week I was found at the forest by my real father. It was hard to them to explain everything from A to Z to me after all I gone through but when my real parents provided all the information it is not that hard to believe.

"Yow. Feeling better? " Cloud asked.

I nodded as he smiled. Cloud is one different case in my father's pack. He is born as a pure human which he inherit from our grandmother. But father and mother doesn't think of him as liability but instead the person who lift happiness in the whole pack when they feeling down. Though surely dad admits that Cloud brought pain in the ass by being the playboy in the town.

Then I remember my mate. "What happened to the human in forest, bro?"

Cloud frown thinking over what I said. Then shrugged.

"I don't know Sky, maybe you should ask dad, about that "

I nod. He was right. But I prayed that she is alive my mate,  my second chance mate.

I stand up and take some walk after Cloud excuses himself. I need to relax, Rover is so frantic about finding our mate again.

As I walk in the forest. The clouds covering the moon suddenly set aside leaving the moon shine more brightly. By then I saw a familiar figure.

'Mate!' Rover growled.

'Yeah. But let's take it easy. She's a human remember? '

With that Rover calm down a bit.

"I can see you're okay", our mate said while smiling. I must admit she has the most beautiful smile I have ever seen.

As I was to take a step. My heart begun to pound seeing a vampire on her back.

"Nooo!"

"Hey what's wrong Sky?" asked Cloud. I looked around and comb my hair with my fingers.  Damn that dream.

"Having a nightmare? "

I nod as I calm myself. "Dad said that tomorrow we will go to same school. He already enrolled you to my school"

I rolled my eyes and cover my head in frustration. While Cloud let out a laugh. School.

Who would have thought school can be frustrating sometimes.
