Chapter Four - Ruru and Chika

Autumn

I wake up when a pair of small hands tries to hug me. But he was so small that his hand landed on my waist.

Oh. My two years old pup.

"Ruru I'm still sleeping can you let mama take a nap?" I said to him.

Ruru is my two year old adopted son. I was 15 years old when mom brought a baby from a mission.

I thought it was a normal baby but mom said it is the son of an  Alpha from Silver Moon's pack. The pack  that mom says, witches control minds to kill each other and since Ruru is a baby. They can't fully control him. His mother protect him by giving to a trustworthy creature.

When Ruru arrived at the house he was crying loudly that makes mom so irritate.

And it takes me to make him calm and giggle to make mom's irritation worsen.

I know mom is not that cold hearted but she can't bear the smell of wolf because of the vampire blood.

"Chika will you please take Ruru away for a while. I want to take a nap", I mumble.

In count of five,  an almost two meter tall wolf enter at the room.

Yeah. Wolf.

Chika is a wolf who's  with Ruru since forever. It's like he's mission is to protect the next line alpha. I know when Ruru came to the right age he will become a great alpha.

I chuckle when Chika tugged Ruru at the back of his bib, dragging him out from my room.

"Thanks Chika! "

After Ruru leaves another figure came in making me feel a little awkward about my position. He sat down on the side of my bed.

'Sky!' a voice inside my head cheered.

"Are you okay?"

I nod. "Yeah. Better than I thought I would "

He smiled in relief then caressed my hair. Hey, isn't a little bit too fast?

"Ehem. Would you mind, if I talk to Autumn first? ", mom said from the door.

Thanks mom for

Sky nod leaving me and mom alone.

"Hey"

"Hey Mom", I said giving a quick smile.

"Geman escape sweetie and we're not safe alone in this house. It seems that 'that asshole' is drawn to your blood",

I nod, I'm aware of that. His stares still brought chills in my body like I'm a prey to be serve in predator.

Then I remember,  mom knows I have--

"I'm your mother Autumn. Maybe I don't know anything that much to your father but he is not you. I'm the one who brought and raised you to this world means I know exactly what spot will grow from your body means I've know you more than you know yourself ", she said then put my hair under my ears.

A sob escape from my lips. Mom is in her soft mode and makes me feel regret that I ever hide something like this to her.

"So what kind of magic do you have my daughter? "

I laughed and excitedly tell her what I've got. She's amused but I can't help it, though mom says that she posses magic too that make me shocked even more.

"But how come? "

She just shrugged and patted my head.

"Don't know but maybe because of the vampire king though I might say Claudio claims that I'm the first of my kind ",

Mom said shrugging after that her facial expression becomes weary like she was thinking something unthinkable.

"What is it mom?"

She cursed under her breath and rolled her eyes.

"I guess it's better if he's the one to told you about this"

I was confused but my thinking was suddenly crowded when I see Sky beside the door holding Ruru. Now I think about it, they do looked similar.

Chika on the other hand is Sky waggling his tail. Wait when is the time they've become close? I always remember Chika growling at mom whenever they meet at the corridor.

"Mama!"

Mom rolled her eyes and left me with this two boys and a wolf. No, two werewolf and a wolf.

"Ruru. " I smiled and welcome his embrace though my back still aches.

Sky looked at me with confused look on his face at he stares at Chika.

"You're child is a werewolf. A special one with his guardian. Chika is a legendary wolf guardian"

My mouth fell opened. What is he talking about?
