Chapter Twenty Four - Reincarnated

Autumn closed her eyes. I thought she was just resting but when I felt the pain of lose in my chest and can't hear her breathing anymore. My world suddenly fall upon my feet. No.. Not now.. Not ever... I gather her in my arms and tap her now pale cheeks. Tears start to stream down across my face.

"No. Autumn, honey, please open your eyes... Don't leave me... I'm sorry for being dumb.... I accept it.. I'm stupid... I don't deserve your love but don't do this to me... You're my life and w-without you I died t-too", I said in cracked voice.

I called out her name but she didn't respond anymore. I tried to resuscitate her but Cloud tap my shoulder.

"Sky, it's enough. She lost so much blood, you cannot revive her anymore"

"NO! She's alive! She can't die like this"

I tried again but I sob painfully. Now that I began to lose my hopes. I look at her lifeless face again. In our shock her face back again. My pain and guilt added more than I know... My Autumn...

She's not dead. No, she's not!
"But she did! And it's all because of our damn fault!" Rover screamed. I was startled when I hear him weep inside my head. I'm being the soft side cried a lot but hearing my wolf weep is more devastatingly truth than ever.

"Alpha, the vampire clan is now here. The war will be earlier as predicted by the oracle", Nathan informed to Cloud. My hands gripped tighten as I clenched my teeth. Their all gonna pay for this... Elena will gonna pay for this...
I gently lay Autumn down and face Cloud and Nathan.

"Contact the witch city, and the other packs. Cielo knows where the battle will take place", I mumbled, trying not to lose myself. I glance at my two angels, playing with each other innocently. I place a soft kiss in their foreheads before I turn to Autumn. And like what I used to, I kiss her cold lips.

"Don't worry, my children. This world will be a better place for you. I promise",

And don't worry Autumn, I won't let you travel alone to the afterlife. I'll joined you. And there we will watch our children grow.

AUTUMN

I wake up inside a dark room. But even though everything is tainted with pitch black. I still can see myself clearly.

I sighed when I realized one thing. Of course I died and when you die there's no turning back.

I start to walk but there is no one. I wonder where I am. Am I in hell or what everyone call as heaven.

I paused when I hear a sobs. There are two sobs...  No... Three... I clutched my chest as fear crypt inside. I slap my forehead.

Ugh. Foolish Autumn. You're dead you dummy! You shouldn't feel any emotions at all!

I stopped when I saw two girls crying in the opposite sides of this dark room. And the third one is...

"Angela?" I mumbled while walking towards a pure white wolf. Her body is curled in sleeping position and her nose tucked in body in a rolled position.

"Who are they? And why are you crying?"

Angela didn't answer. Instead the two crying ladies stand up and face me. I froze when I saw their faces, the fear I felt came back but that's not it. The terror crawl from the fingers of my feet up to my face. I step back while staring at them.

"W-who a-a-are you?" I stammered.

The two ladies in front of me has the same face as mine. But what take my breath away is when Angela turned into human with the same like my face as Erin.

"Angela. What the hell is this?! What is this?"

I begun to shake when the lady in gown step closer to me. Putting her index finger in my forehead.

Don't be afraid Autumn. Because we are you and you are we. I, Princess Carla who lived as the first lifetime. Daughter of the moon goddess Azalea. Betrayed and sentence to death by the trick of Elena. By that I lost my son, and my love, the Duke of West, William.

Then she point at the other lady whose wearing Filipino clothing. I knew better a lot in that country.

She, Clara, the maiden who is the second lifetime of me as the moon goddess promise. But Elena interfere again with her lifetime mate, Xavier.

Then she pointed last at Angela.
And she, Erin, was destined to be with Eros but betrayed by her twin  Elaine. Slain before she met her wolf mate. Elaine who is now Elena's wolf.

"So you're saying me, that I would be just like you?" I asked gulping. Carla smiled.

No, you won't. Your story will be different and we want you to end this era with the success in our hands. Because if not, the generation you given your life will suffer.

She said as I saw my body starts fading away. What's happening?

Angela walk towards me and engulf me with embrace. "Goodbye, Autumn. I'll miss you"

"Hey, what are you talking about? Your my wolf right?" I sob. Angela shook her head.

"Yes. But not anymore. In order to save you, I must die. But don't worry, the moon goddess granted my wish to give you, the first  and last gift I could ever gave you. Now go, save our mate for me and say my goodbye to Rover. He will still be your mate even though you don't have me anymore",

I tried to speak but it's only my tears that I can hear falling.

"B-but-"

I closed my eyes tightly when the blinding light start to welcome me.

"Goodbye, my other half", Angela whisper before she pushed me to the blinding light.
