Chapter Twenty Three - Black Wolf

Yawn, five chapters before this story ends. Hopefully I could finished this before my favorite book series does. Ugh. So hard to find conflicts. My head is spinning and last night I woke up crying for unknown reason with my heart felt so heavy.

Autumn

I wake up with tears in my eyes. I don't know why but I felt something heavy in my chest.

"Mama. Mama!" I heard Ruru inside my head. "Ruru?"

I followed his voice and end up in our old house. I can hear from outside that mom is trying to calm him. I gulped and knock twice. In count of ten the door open revealing mom with her annoyed face. In her hand is my poor Ruru.

"What is it dog?"
My eyes set on crying Ruru. "Mama! Mama!" he shouted reaching his hands on me.

"M-May I?"

Mom hesitate at first but she give  Ruru anyway. "Mama"

Mom's eyes widened in shocked. Her mouth felt open.
"A-Autumn? "

My eyes filled with unshed tears.
"I believe you'd recognize me somehow, mom"

"Thanks God!" Mom exclaimed pulling me in hug. We sob as I rest my head in her shoulder.

"What happened? Your face, your  scent. It was totally different"

"Let's talk inside mom. I believe trees can spy"

Mom nod. I tell her everything I knew from the start. From the abduction until everyone can't recognize me except Ruru. I saw the guilt in her eyes.

"I'm sorry child. I can't... I was devastated then Geman caught me. I almost die too but someone saved me",

"Who is she mom?"

"I-I don't know. But one thing I learned, she has a mark of moon on her neck"

We paused for a while. I looked at Ruru in my arms. He is sleeping with a smile on his lips.

Mom stare at my bump then caressed it gently. "Oh my..." she sob. "I will finally have grandchild"

"Grandchildren mom", I corrected.

Her eyes wide in shock but changed in amusement. "My baby", she says.

I smiled but I stiffened when I felt something. "There's someone inside",

I says. Mom become alert. "I smelled your scent outside"

"Mom be careful. She's a witch"

Mom smiled sadistic. "Like I'm not? Am I?"

I laid gently my sleeping Ruru on the couch and followed mom. My eyes flew wide open, when I saw Geman and beside him is the fake Autumn.

"Hello again my love. Have you missed me?" Geman says to mom. Mom gritted her teeth ready to kill the bastard.

My eyes locked in the fake Autumn. But realization hit me...
"E-Elena?"

She smiled sweetly. "Hello my former cousin. Long time no see. I must says, your mate is quite hot in bed like someone I know"

"Why you!" I shouted then let Angela surface on me.

SOMEONE'S POV

Autumn's shifted, letting Angela take the control. She didn't notice Sky and some pack members arrival with their faces in shock. In front of them is Autumn but she is fighting with her wolf Angela. How that happened?

"Sky! Help my daughter! That woman in front of you isn't the real one! Autumn is in wolf form!" Cielo shouted while fighting with Geman.

Sky stunned. Unable to move but he gasped when the woman in front of him shifted in a wolf form. And everyone was stunned even Autumn as she watch a pitch black wolf stand before their very eyes.

Angela growled upon recognizing the wolf in front of her.

"It's you!"

Elena smiled mockingly. "Surprise my twin wolf?"

"What is she talking Angela?" Autumn asked. Angela shakes her head. She was furious upon seeing the bitch who always ruin her life and Autumn doesn't know much about their current situation.

The two make a circle not breaking eye contact with each other. Testing each other strength.

"Why my twin wolf doesn't change a bit. You're still a pure white as ever. Such a sore in my eyes, Clara"

"And your color still picture what kind of soul you had, Elaine"

"That name sounds familiar to me", Autumn whisper. "Who is she really Angela? And why she called you Clara? She's Elena, isn't she? But you call her Elaine"

"That's because her wolf is Elaine and my former human is Carla!" Angela outburst.

"And that bitch in front of us, stole my mate Xavier!! Now she's stealing Rover from me!"

Tears fell in Angela's eyes but she shake her head to set aside painful memories. Her claws showed and her fangs ready to bit the crap out of the pitch black wolf.

Angela dodge when Elaine tried to jump on her. She rolled then attack Elaine by clawing her on her face after managing a swift standing position. Elaine howl in pain as she caught Angela in the neck. She bite her, sinking her teeth in her neck. Angela wiggled trying to free herself from Elaine when someone interfere. Sky, now in wolf form stand before their very eyes. Rover growled in Elaine while setting Angela in his back.

"Stay here my love. I'll protect you" he whisper.

Angela didn't speak much because she felt so weak. Blood is oozing from her neck making her white fur tainted with blood. She start changed back into Autumn's human form.

Elaine shift into human form calling Geman for a retreat as she smiled victoriously. Casting a spell to escape.

Sky hurried to Autumn side. Covering her naked body with his shirt.

"Love, I'm here. I'm here, please looked at me. Stay awake please",

Autumn smiled weakly as she tried to caressed his face but failed.

"I'm g-glad. You recognize Angela. I-I miss you S-Sky" she sob.

"Ssh. Don't speak to much. We'll saved you. You will be okay"

Autumn whined in pain. "Her water bag has broken. She is giving birth. Let get her to the clinic", Cielo said.

AUTUMN

I almost lost my consciousness but I keep awake because I'm scared that if I close my eyes. I will not be able to wake up again. And if I die, so does my children.

Sky lay me in the hospital bed. Danica, the hospital doctor help them. My eyes caught the moon shining. The second last moon.

I closed my eyes when pain wave through my being.
"Okay Autumn. When I say push, you push okay?"

"Wait, a normal delivery? But she's injured. This can kill her", Sky roared. I grabbed his hand and squeeze it tightly.

"I-I can do this. F-For our children"

His eyes filled with unshed tears. He plant a soft kiss in my mouth.

"I will make it up to you",

I nod. I look at the doctor and started to push. I cried in silent because of the pain but even if I died the least I can do is give my children the life they deserve.

I give birth for almost half of day and when I the first cry. My tears fell. "It's a boy", Danica said. I paused as another shot of pain hover me. I push again and after a minute. She came... My Summer...

"What are their names, Autumn?" Sky asked. His eyes are full of pride and joy. I smiled weakly and handled him a paper with my shaky hand.

Summer Rain and Chase Winter. I think of it every time I thought of Sky. I know, he'll love it too. Sky smiled tenderly and kissed my temple. "They're beautiful"

I nod weakly. Coldness is spreading through my entire body. My eyes started to feel heavy. And I'm hardly breathing.

"I love you, Sky", I said and succumb to the darkness whose calling out to me.

I never thought good bye could this be really painful yet I felt so at peace.
