Summary: Where Draco is the Potions proffesor and Harry is the new DADA proffesor
To say Draco Malfoy was surprised to see Harry Potter as the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher is a bit of an understatement.
Draco Malfoy is a proffesor in Hogwarts who teaches Potions. He used to be a healer but he figured he wanted to pass down to students what his Godfather, Severus Snape, thought him.
Minerva McGonagall, the new headmistress, accepted him with open arms.
And of course Draco is well aware that teaching in Hogwarts might bring back some unwanted memories, but Draco couldn't care less. After all, it's fun scaring the crap out of students or just plainly see his son, Scorpius Malfoy, laughing with his best friend, Albus Potter.
Draco didn't even know how they become friends in the first place. At first he didn't approved at his son's choice of friends -or in this case friend- but when he sees him laughing and just genuinely happy, Draco decided to just accept it.
Scorpius tells everything to Draco about Albus. By everything, literally everything. Scorpius would sometimes mention Albus's
father, Harry Potter, but Draco didn't remember Scorpius mentioning that Potter would be a proffesor in Hogwarts.
Draco was there, dumbstruck, staring at Harry Potter. Potter. His goddamn enemy. The person he hated. The person who rejected his friendship way back then.
But also the person who saved him from burning to ashes.
And the person who spoke for him back in the trials.
Draco didn't know how to react. Everyone is fawning over Potter. They would greet him or shake his hand. Draco doesn't know if he shouldn't do anything or he should do both.
Then Potter was standing before him. Potter still have that messy hair, that almost faded scar and his emerald eyes, which hides over his circular glasses.
Potter had a smile on. As if he's seeing a friend. Then that smile turn into a grin, almost looking like a smirk. Potter had aged alright, Draco accepted it, for he too had aged, but damn
Potter is goddamn attractive.
He always been. Ever since they were 'children' or 'teenagers' Draco had found Potter to be very attractive. Though he doesn't like to admit it out loud. One of Potter's bonus factor was that, Draco was taller than him. Even to this age Draco is still half a head taller than the boy who lived. It makes Draco feel that he had something that Potter doesn't have.
It's height. Ridiculous it may sound but it's better than nothing.
"Malfoy" Potter said, with that same tone they would use in their early days.
Draco felt himself smirk. "Potter"
Harry snorted, as if he was covering up a laugh. "After all this we still end up running to each other don't we?"
"It's your fault Potter, you keep on showing on times you're least wanted" Draco retorted.
"Why Malfoy? Scared that I'll be a better teacher?" Harry teased.
"Now that you mention it" Draco paused, as if thinking. "Yeah" he concluded. "It's on Potter"
"Oh it's on"
From the distance, Albus and Scorpius is watching their dads bicker. It looks like its a playful bickering since both of them are either smirking or grinning, sometimes they would even smile!
Scorpius turned to Albus. "Nice job convincing your dad" he said.
Albus turned to Scorpius in return. "Of course, it took me awhile but it worked didn't it?"
Scorpius chuckled in reply. Then his face fell. "But what about your mum? Is she okay with it?"
"Of course. Mum is like the coolest mum in the world. She said she and Luis (a character I made up to be Ginny's new husband) approved as long as dad still feeds me" Albus said.
"Good. Not much of a problem now then"
"But wait" Albus started. "Are you sure your dad have undying feelings for my dad?"
"Please, Only someone blind enough wouldn't see it. Even if it's them themselves"
