I walked passed my heros new house on my way to the bus stop, the house looked empty still, I just got used to it I guess. But a box outside reminded me this was really happening.

The 7 hours of school felt like days. I could barely pay attention, I was too busy perfecting the plan, making a backup plan, working out the tweaks, figuring out what to say to them. I tried looking casual because my introduction would be casual. Not like "Hey, red dress and heels, you're old enough to be my father but whatevs, you're in a band." I didn't even want to meet them in a romantic way, i just want them to be my friends I guess.

The second hand on the clock took forever to make its way though the last few seconds to 2:45 but eventually it did and the bell rang and I flew out the school and got on the bus before anyone else, I sat right up front. The first few stops felt like an eternity was in between me and my heros, kids would come back for jackets, couldn't find backpacks, etc. I swear my life's an entire game to see if i'll commit suicide or homicide first.

Finally we got to my bus stop and I flew out the bus and down the street as fast as I could, but before I turned the corner, I made sure I looked ok in a tiny hand held mirror and caught my breath before casualy walking to my driveway.

What? My driveway? Yes. I got the pile of mail from my mailbox and walked over to theirs and prayed to anything that could possibly be out there, that they had mail in their mailbox too.

I opened their mailbox, and it was a good thing I was blocked by a tree and a bush. Thank who ever I prayed to that they had a piece of mail in there. I took it out and I was shaking. I stood there for a minute trying to calm down, I couldn't even read the words on the letter. I couldn't even make out the adress, but as soon as I saw "Mr. Barakat" I walked to the front door and rang the doorbell. No turning back now.

I heard the echo inside the seemingly empty house and looked through the window at all the boxes and things. Then, a shadow flickered and my heart almost jumped out of my chest. I heard the doornob turn and my body didn't know if it should have a panic attack or a heart attack. I remembered the plan and started slowing flipping through the mail.

From all of the senses but my eyesight, I could tell Alex answered the door. "Hey, whats up?"
