Abby's eyes flutter open. She sees Jackson. "Jackson?"
The young man turns around and smiles at her. "Welcome back. I'm so glad you're okay." Jackson offers her a hand and helps her sit up.
"How long was I out?" Abby asks as she looks at her surroundings.
"A couple of hours, maybe more. You just passed out but don't worry, I checked everything out. You're fine." Jackson says taking a seat next to her.
The ark.
This isn't Arkadia. She's in the ark.
"I'm on the ark." Abby says as realization finally hits her.
"Maybe you're not fine. Maybe you hit your head harder than I thought." Jackson says.
"No I'm fine Jackson. I just need some rest." Abby says, standing up.
"I'll see you tomorrow Jackson." Abby says as she walks out of medical.
Jackson smiles as he watches Abby walk out of medical.
Abby walks down the corridor of the ark seeing old faces. Faces she barely remembers.
"Abs!" Screams a voice.
Abby is hugged by a woman her age. She has dark short hair.
"It's me Abby. Callie, your best friend. Jake did say you hit your head." She says.
"Jake?" Abby asks.
"Yeah Jake your husband." Callie says.
"Callie." Says a strong masculine voice.
Abby turns around, "Marcus?" Abby asks.
Marcus gives a tight lipped smile, "I'm glad you're okay Doctor Griffin. Come on Callie time to go. Doctor Griffin needs to rest."
"Fine. Nice seeing you Abby." Callie says as she walks off.
"Doctor Griffin. Are you sure you're okay. You seem kind of...different." Marcus asks.
"Maybe different isn't a bad thing." Abby says.
"With you it is. You seem disoriented. I'll give you an escort back to your quarters." Marcus says as he leads Abby back to her quarters.
Marcus leads her into an abandoned room. "Well thanks for the escort Marcus." Abby says looking around.
Marcus grabs Abby by the shoulders, "this isn't your quarters. I want to talk."
"Anything for you Marcus." Abby says.
"What's wrong with you?" Marcus asks.
"What do you mean? We're friends. Aren't we?" Abby asks taking a step towards him.
"What are you talking about-" Marcus stops mid-sentence as he looks into Abby's dark brown eyes. "Yes we're friends. Good friends. You should go home to your family. They need you." Marcus says as he leads her out of the room and to her quarters.
